I could see them haveing slightly hightened senses, or like Kizinistzerg said, the Werewolves just paying better attention to them. Healing would be plausible and useful too. I dont know about Super Strength though, that seems like they could stand out too much and be found out, they gotta be able ...

I think it makes sense that they Might do so to scare someone off and get them thinking "dog" instead of "werewolf"

Rig should have been concerned that the werewolves weren't heeding her warnings, or even paying attention to her, But instead years of frustration made her reaction that of anger. Running on a bet that werewolf hearing was better than your average human's may not have been Rig's best of options, she couldnt be sure they had heard her shouts, much less her exhausted huffs.
