Re: What to do with those who claim to be Werewolves
Another point: Someone who was changing computers might have accidentally left the address as "ThePacksDen.com" instead of switching to "ThePacksDen.net" and wound up with a dead page. Like me... That's over and I'm back.

Re: Once more... Where are the curly werewolves?
Another horrible possibility to consider vs. Curly Werewolves is that they were thought to be Poodles; dogs with very curly hair. I suspect that any werewolf that shifted and came out as a werepoodle would revert and never, ever shift again; full moon or not. After all, whether the Werewolf in...

Compromise would be a good thing, but as you pointed out, $4.5 billion is not compromise money. The people who paid are going to want some value for their hard donated dollars, and they won't take "It's not good for the country" as an answer. We've turned the Presidency into what is essent...

My name here is Redeye, but out in the world it's Kyllein; reachable at Kyllein@AOL.com. I am a writer and have the rejection slips to prove it. Take a look at the Films, Books, novels, etc section; then goto the Novels listing in this bb for the "Wulfen Blood" section. That's my stuff. Co...

He's going to have a job ahead of him: The Republicans have been taken over by the Extreme Right and the Democrats are the tools of the Extreme Left. He's gonna get slammed from both sides, and hard! Mind you, within both parties are pretty decent people who simply want to serve their nation...but t...

Although the picture is awful, one thing sticks out like mad. The guy looks like he forgot his dentures. Seriously, he looks like he left his teeth soaking and was rushed into makeup at the last moment. Now, they say this is a "Henchman" werewolf. To me, he looks more like a slightly...

Re: Would you Willingly turn someone?
Turning someone, as in making them into a Werewolf (theoretically like you) is generally accomplished in the stories and movies in two ways. Way 1: Biting them and thus transferring the whatever-it-is that causes lycanthropy to someone else. In Freeborn, it was theorized that a sort of virus was pre...

You know you're from California when.... 1. You're the only Native on the block. 2. None of your neighbors speak the same languages and none of them speak English. 3. You fall asleep while waiting for the voice on the telephone to tell you which number to press to continue the rest of the call in En...

Re: Is this forum DEAD yet?
Compared to some forums I'm on, this place is a beehive of activity. We have slowed down, to be sure, but we'll speed up when the next werewolf movie is released. In a way, what's happened is that this forum has matured . We share ideas and don't get upset if there is a two week break between posts....

Talk about opening Pandora's box with a simple question... :P That would have so many conditions to consider that by the time I'd reached a decision, we'd both probably be dead of old age. There are a lot of reasons for, and just as many against. It would basically depend on: How useful would this p...

Re: Regarding 'Freeborn'
"Freeborn" could go the "Novel" to "Movie" route. That works where a plain screenplay won't. And yes, right now AB&co are decidedly busy and having issues. That will pass; and remember that Hollywood (and financing) go through cycles of what gets made and what doesn...

I don't WANT this forum to be dead. Yeesh. So write to us a bit more. Some of us miss your comments and your decidedly different view of things. While the original concept of the board " Let's make a werewolf that the Audience can relate to " is long dead and gone, the interest it stirred...

Well, since we've already covered the policy and such, I wonder what would happen if someone posted a video of themselves shifting. I mean, it would have to be authenticated and all that before it could be credible, but still, it might get pretty interesting. Hrm. That would prove interesting on se...

Re: Is this forum DEAD yet?
No, Matt; the forum is quite alive and well. Good to hear from you, though. As for the movie being dead, possibly . I mean that in this way: The motion picture "Freeborn" is in limbo, since it is a copyrighted story and cannot die for (I believe) 17 years, and Anthony Brownrigg owns the co...

Re: What to do with those who claim to be Werewolves
Well, the title of this thread is "What to do with those who claim to be werewolves". We might try that as a theme. Note: There is in place already the editorial position held by the staff of this board, and we have no plans on changing it in the forseeable future. That position is: Werewo...

Re: Heat transfer to energy for mass?
"Generating" Cold is possible. All you have to do is have less heat energy than your surroundings and voila! generation of cold. Heat and Cold are relative measurements of the amount of thermal energy in something; be it a mass, a chemical reaction, a physical reaction or even the total am...

Re: Could a werewolf family be sophisticated?
If by sophistication you mean intelligent and capable of blending in with smoothskin society; then yes indeed. The werewolf is a creature who combines two social and intelligent lifeforms into one, so most likely there is a lot of sophistication present*. I have always posited that Werewolves would ...

Re: Transgender werebeast transformation
Interesting. There are species who actually do a gender shift under the right circumstances. Usually, this means going from female to male. What is brought up though, is that with the totality of change that the "Shift" becomes, the changing of gender is actually a minor thing since so muc...

Re: Werewolf Lifespan?
If you accept the Werewolf as being "Robust" (as in tougher than average) and "Strong" (in other than a muscular sense) there is no reason not to combine them and give a werewolf a longer than standard human lifespan. My Wulfen series Werewolves live an average of 120-130 years; ...

Again: We request people goto old posts rather than opening new threads. It isn't necroposting; it's obeying the rules. Re: Sending out a howl
Wolf Knight isn't there any more. Deleted him. As for opening an old thread to post, I'll point out that we encourage doing that rather than opening a new thread. My suggestion is that you take it up with Takyoji. If he removes that part of the "rules" then fine; but until then WK was actu...
