Re: What should a werewolf consist of?
Yeah I'd go along with that. I mean sure, there's typically going to be a knowledge Vs. perception angle; if perception says it's a werewolf but knowledge says it's sheep genetics, or it looks like a sheep but has wolf genes (not to mention who gets to decide the significance of this stuff anyway?) ...

So all these people grilling certain individuals and saying unless you can actually shift then be mindful of what you say oh and show us proof. Real quick idea how about all of you that are grilling please show your proof as well. Proof of what? That werewolves don't exist? I'll assume by "unl...

Aww, I wish the site gave us at least one proper mood-lighting shot of The Hunger figure. I know it's a comic book woof but poor thing looks so toy-photography pancaked . He needs some TLC from a werewolf fan! Like the lycan.

Re: Looking for answers and potential help
Yeah well, what can you do? There is a role play sub-forum here for that stuff. Alas, werewolf fan sites like this tend to attract werewolf fantasists. Most sites usually get an influx of role players and posers and so forth when a new werewolf film comes out. This site is no exception. I've been ar...

Re: Looking for answers and potential help
Hello Julian, welcome to the pack. Interesting hobby, werewolf chasing. Founded in 2004, this forum originated as a fan site attached to a movie project. It's evolved since then, but long story short the consensus here is that werewolves aren't real. Or if they were, then we wouldn't be talking abou...

Welcome to the pack, Arlescia.
Hmm, I'm not sure a werewolf fan site such as this can help with dreams, mystery voices, or locating missing halves. The dreams sound fun though!

Crowd Funded werewolves: "Perk" ideas needed.
Wuff! *Edit* Just to clarify, crowd funding is only an idea being considered at this point, but relates to the production of parts of the practical effects for Freeborn's gestalt werewolf (aka: The werewolf suit). Note, this is not for the production of Freeborn itself, just the werewolf suit. Prima...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Another day. Another post. Laaa la-laaa, la-dee daaa... Oh good, nobody's watching. Time for some Vogon level bad poetry! I stood aloft a rocky shore, and with narrow eye a froth I saw. And with ringing ear I thought I heard, ominous churning as the kraken stirred. I wonder... If I just le...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Oww! Talk about giving someone the Hard sell! On a vaguely related note: I've been trickling designs for a few weeks now, and AB is still responding to emails periodically (hence the link). Last word is he's chewing it over as and when he has time. The digitigrade legs stuff is mostly done and...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
I should be ashamed of upbringing, no board games for me (I've no real relationship with dice, sadly). These ones are cool though! :D Y'know, when I suggested "werewolf slippers" merchandise years ago, I thought maybe some fairly conventional fluffy foot-paws with nicely refined detailing....

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Ahh yeah, I know the ones. I seem to remember seeing an equine suit that made me do a double take  . This one is pretty cool. Movies can "green screen" cheat though :P . As for me, it's a bit of a funny story. I began work after thinking the Underworld suit's mobility sucked. Later I ...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Well, if pitching it as a theatrical thing doesn't work -- Halloween is coming up. Update: Welp, I did it. A couple of emails later, here's what I know: I told AB about the suspension system, mobility enhancements, and a couple of other bits and pieces, and he told me of the two 3D printers ...

when i was six years old i was put into foster care but now i am 15 and i am female i was always told the wolf gene runs in males only but there have been some weird things going on with me for example whenever i get mad my eyes turn hazel but when im fine they are brown and i get a weird feeling a...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Welllll... I've been considering building a prototype for halloween in the next year or two (too late for this year). I'd probably do a minotaur though, something blatantly bulky to try out the muscle simulation on so it's easier to work with (yeah yeah, a huge built werewolf would be fun too; decis...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Hah! No, don't let the word "exoskeleton" fool you, or shadow the word that preceded it, "soft". The human body already has a hard skeleton, which the "soft" exoskeleton will use to maintain its shape in the majority of axes, molding itself to the body's contours like a...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
(Paragraph edited (deleted) by author due to probable Non Disclosure Agreement violation.) More on topic, I'm kinda tempted to drop AB a line about these prosthetics and such. I've some ideas, probably overkill for a film/TV show, but may be worth the investment if werewolves hang around and/or do a...

I dunno about "wife", but Jack was going steady a proverbial mate till about 3 or so years before Sherri showed up, that is, until said mate lost here head in a traffic accident (literally). ?? I don't remember any of this! This was in the script AB posted? No, not the '05 script (I did a...

Also, definitely girly. But... I'm thinking it's probably not Tasha, but rather what's-her-name... Zane's main squeeze. (Jeez, I can't believe I forgot the character's name. I think it's been, like, a really long time since I read the script). Sherri Frost (I remembered the name, just not how it wa...

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
"This?... Is a butt." For a moment there I thought it was an exceptionally shapely forequarter! :P . Cue the never moon a werewolf puns. Is it me, or did that butt look a bit girly? Tasha maybe? The extremities are looking pretty good too. Not going as far as to say I'm stoked, but I...

But would you not also have successive generations of infected carriers develop a certain tolerance as well? For instance, the mortality rate of smallpox vs. persons of European stock set against the astronomical mortality rate among Native Americans (an isolated group not previously exposed to it)...

Re: love death and robots
Yeah agreed, I just mean the black wolves usually end up getting better aesthetics, like nicer proportions.
I like the way the digitigrade legs have been done, and an overall muscular but light and lean look, like a middle distance runner.
