Re:

silver is also a scottish method of killing a witch who is in animal form. it is also recorded that the beast of le gavaudin(i think that'show you spell it) was killed by aa silver bullet made from the community church's communion goblet. I think it was killed with consecrated lead bullets. ...

Re:

I think that a pregnant were would be able to shift, but that she would shift around the uterus, leaving it and it's contents unaltered, which would probably make shifting difficult in the final weeks of pregnancy. As for gestation and the shifting ability of the offspring, Celestialwolf pretty much...

Re: About all these medical test scenarios...

Something I've been wondering: If werewolves have higher metabolisms than humans, would that mean that they have a higher average heart rate? And they would need more food than humans do as well, right? Any other differences resulting from a higher metabolism?

Re: Best job for a werewolf?

I personally don't think that most werewolves would be the type to go in for a job that involves having a career. If a hypothetical werewolf were to become a law enforcement officer, it would be very difficult, if a hunter or other inconvenient human got on his trail, to just pack up and move out. ...

Re: question on the supposed healing abilities of a werewolf

I think it would grow back the normal rate. I don't think regeneration would apply to fur. Except, is this regeneration thing something that happens automatically, or can the werewolf turn it on and off and prioritize certain injuries? Because if they could do that, I suppose they could make it appl...

Re: Melding clothing with the shifter

This brings to mind something I've been wondering about: In Breaking Dawn, Jacob thinks that "buttons would never be in fashion for werewolves". So I was wondering, what sorts of things would be good for shifters? Snaps, I think, would be fine, they'd be pretty easy to undo in a hurry. Dra...

Re: Finding out

Something else that might be worth considering is the fact that werewolves are (presumably) most active at night, so a werewolf in human form might have bags under his eyes or some other indication of sleep deprivation. Perhaps werewolves would be more likely to work the night shift? I can see were...

Re: And now for something completely different!

I just got finished reading all the ways posted of dealing with the hunter.... man, some of you people are vicious! Like me..... I would do my utmost to free the werewolf. I'd try to appear as non-threatening as I could and make my intentions as clear as possible, but I probably wouldn't address the...

Re: Werewolf hunters.

If I were a werewolf, I'd most likely already be relocating frequently anyway, so any hunter who found me probably wouldn't be shaken off by a move. If they were the young and misguided type, I'd probably take a stab at convincing them to leave me be... but failing that, I'd kill them. I'd make it q...

Re: AHHHHHHHHHHH SILVER

In my personal universe, the werewolves heal approximately seven to eight times faster than normal humans (resulting in fatigue and/or unconsciousness after severe injury), unless the wound is inflicted by a weapon made of pure silver, in which case the rate of healing is just a tad slower than that...
