Um... That thing is like three feet tall. Where would you stick it?
(And just flashed on an image of using it as the centerpiece on the dining room table.)

Re: Would you Willingly turn someone?
Well, that sort of assumes that the benefits of lycanthropy are not worth the costs. If existence as a werewolf is a living hell, then it sort of answers the question for you (I mean, unless you really don't like the person you're thinking of turning, want him to suffer -- for whatever reason -- and...

Re: Strongest animal a werewolf could go toe to toe with?
... if the hyena gets a good bite that's a broken bone for the werewolf. Hmmm... Maybe. But that presupposes that the werewolf (with all of its physical strength) doesn't have more robust than human-average skeletal build. If those hyena jaws are made of bone too, then it comes down to which set of...

The Hunting (2021)
Stumbled across this just now. Cannot find anything about it online (which is probably not a good sign). Apparently it's owned by some fly-by-night out of New Zealand called Black Mandala Films. What little of the creature effects you can see look sort of cheap, but otherwise looks genuinely spooky....

Re: The Downsides to Lycanthropy
Well, I sort of like what Scott had to say on this, namely that simply by dint of being a werewolf, you are saddled with some insurmountable scheduling issues. Not being able to be around anyone else (at least who don't know your little secret) for one to three specific days a month would get proble...

I don't know. Necroposting has its place, particularly if you've got a new take on something, or just wanted clarification on stuff.

Werewolves Within (2021)
Oh my God, I just stumbled across this thing online. It looks like another game interpreted as movie thing. Apparently it's an adaptation of the game where you try to guess which player is the werewolf.

Re: Pack Pups Updates, life, work, etc....
Ugh. Life got in the way. I've got a werewolf project that's been sitting as notes and great ideas that hasn't been significantly worked on in, like, 10 years. And that's with the last year of pandemic house-arrest.

... but it's more than obvious that this forum is no longer an active space... What are you talking about? Re: Movie Night
All of 2020 was being trapped in our homes with nothing to do and NOW you suggest this?! Seriously though, good call. Of course, most werewolf flicks out there are so bad, I usually get together with friends and sort of MST3K the worst of the bunch. Last time we did that it was The Howling and we ha...

Just saw it at a friend's house. No werewolves this time through, but the episode "All Through the House" had me laughing so hard I almost threw up. It is possibly the single funniest thing I've ever seen.

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
I've got the following scenario in my mind: "Let's play Werewolf the Apocalypse." "Werewolf is stupid." *Throws caltrop dice in front of other person who steps on it barefoot* "Hey, you can get these on the Werewolf Stuff website -- AND the werewolf slippers that would keep ...

I should be absolutely ashamed to say this (but am not): The coolest thing on that site is actually the caltrop dice. I'm going to have to get myself a set of those.

Re: AB taking another stab (swipe?) at Freeborn!
Y'know, a little off topic, but I've seen some neat practical (as in NOT CGI) creature effects done by (of all things) fursuiters. One guy did this sort-of digitigrade leg thing... the paw was simply made big enough that it could hide his foot inside it, and the hock and everything was simply an emp...
