I still like mine. Werewolves might live to 100 or so .. which really isn't all that uncommon today .. but just look maybe 30 years younger. ;P

This is mostly opinion given to me by a "layman's education," but I'd think it takes time for a body to "realize" that a piece of itself is missing. Thus, if an arm is amputated, it takes time for the body and brain to "realize" or "remember" that it's no long...
