The values vary a lot. The brightness on the blue is 100, the red is 54, and the green's brightness is 31. Thats called altering the color to fit your result. My original were off by about 10 brightness each time. Also the grey's you have below that are fake. One they aren't the same grey as what th...

I really didn't think I would have to explain this.... A few posts back I said that red and blue are probably different enough shades of grey. Well, since red and green are hard to distinguish between for canines. Then we could assume here that red and green are not different enough shades of grey t...

Re: (Warning: RANT) "Furries". What is...what is
("Rant" extracted from "Say Hello to Smoke" thread.) ------------------------------------------ I disagree with the use of the Word "Furry" earlier in this thread. "Furry(s)" are a certain group of eccentric fans of "Anthropomorphic" Animal characte...

It wouldn't be traumatic unless the person didn't know. I mean if your parents are werewolves what are the problems with telling your kid. No psychological stress if you already knew. Ya know? Right ...just like it is not stressful, traumatic or emotionally taxing at all for a Mother-To-Be as she l...

I am opposed to placing the first shift at or after puberty because the scenario of someone being a werewolf since the day they were born but never showing even the slightest sign of it before that very moment is such a *rolls eyes* groan worthy plot device...especially when placed in the midst of ...

Most mammals do. Doesn't mean they see in color. Most canines are color blind save a few breeds of dogs. While colorblind, dogs and wolves don't have purely grayscale vision. They're able to distinguish red from blue, and blue from violet in behavioral tests, but can't do red from green from yellow...

No earlier than 18 years old. You are still growing as a human mentally and physically up to really about 21. So the transforming could have weird side effects on a growing person. Not to mention the social aspects to that. Going through puberty as a werewolf able to transform could be possibly hect...

Of course they should see color, it is a known fact that all canids have both cones and rods. If you don't know what I mean, just google it. KnowadImean? Most mammals do. Doesn't mean they see in color. Most canines are color blind save a few breeds of dogs. Anywho, lack of color allows for better ...

According to folklore Vampires were also vulnerable to silver, not as commonly mentioned as Iron weaknesses due to silver being hard for commoners to get ahold of. As I recall it, mirros had silver backings, as opposed to aluminum today, and as Silver represented Christ, and glass the holy ghost (G...

I'm gonna do this one person at a time. So bare with me. and Neoritter you missed the point of my response. I am not FORCING anyone to follow my response. Also the whole wolf tribe thing isn't something I made up, i only expanded on the idea. I never said you were forcing anyone with anything. Now, ...

I don't think you should start a poll then give your own answer based on an idea for a story you just made up. We should be talking in general and not in a sense a made up reality invented by you Rhuen. If its a story you are creating it can really be whatever you want it to be. Why, ask a question ...

Werewolves regenerate, albeit rather slowly. Cut off an arm, wait a week or two, there's a new arm. Werewolf after 30 loses a tooth or two, wait a couple weeks, there's a new tooth. The exception I'd give is if the tooth were pried out with a silver implement and the hole cauterized, but if it came...

Re: Eye problems?
Got this idea when posting to the "most sensitive part" thread... What happens to your contact lenses when you shift? Do they pop out or stay in? Or does the shift make them unnecessary? Does becoming a werewolf and/or shifting "cure" any congenital eye problems? It would stand ...

Me and religions don't get along. Good intentions turned to dark practices. Some higher power talks to one guy to help him get his life turned around out of the kindness of its heart and suddenly he goes and tells his buddies and they all like the idea, so start to add their own stuff to what the h...

You sound like your personally hurt by all that. Anyway, saying their fiction is actually worse than saying they're the minions of Satan. Because the former takes anyway any power that the old gods, or demons in older Christian terms have, while the latter acknowledges their existance and at the sam...
