Until about a year or so back the only Richard Thompson songs I knew were "Persuasion" (which he co-wrote with Tim Finn and which also turned up on a Tim Finn CD) and "Walking On A Wire" (which I have no idea where I remember it from). Did a quick hunt of the internet and found a...

One of the grossest things I've ever tasted was roast goose. It tastes as bad as muttonbirds smell. I think yall are missing the point of this thread. What is something nasty you ate and LIKED . :P Probably black pudding. Sheep Testicles (*waits for the gay jokes to ammount* :P ) Never heard any gay...

You're treading on a pet peeve, something guaranteed to get a bad reaction out of me. Forgive me for not going "baa" and agreeing with everyone I see. I'm not asking you to agree with me, or anyone else... I'd just rather you didn't try to shut other people up because you don't agree with...

Im not sure you'd like many of the bands I listen to, well some, I guess since I also listen to a very huge and weird range of music. The only sort of music I have a real aversion to is country and western... the sound of it makes me want to break things. A couple of artists I like get uncomfortabl...

I will scream it at you until you shut the hell up. Don't you think that's just a tad excessive? RedEye and company are as entitled to hold their opinions as you are to hold yours. One thing I absolutely loathe is the not shifting until puberty thing. There's absolutely no reason for it. A kid shou...

Me too... It adds a sort of extra dimension to every werewolf story, to have that sort of internal, personal journey as well as the usual drama and adventure. I also like the idea of the werewolf, looking back on life before being bitten, as if it is some sort of adolescence of the spirit.

The radio doesn't bother to grace us with the band names of what is playing, anyway. -Pulls a face- Frankly it annoys me. They used to, but not anymore. Tell me about it... I eventually had to catch a few words and ask around people who know their classic rock a lot better than I to find out what i...

I don't download stuff either... mainly because of having a crap connection... but I'm still finding interesting groups I hadn't previously thought much about... e.g. until about a year ago all I knew of Cream was "The Sunshine Of Your Love" (all right music I suppose)... and then they sta...

There's a website somewhere that (in apparent total seriousness) puts the case that CS Lewis' "Narnia" books are evil and against Christianity. It must have never percolated through into the mind of whoever compiled the site that the books are actually so full of pro-Christian propaganda a...

Just keep an eye out for news of bad ingrediants in food. These things can happen in human foods too. Absolutely... PariahPoet - I've seen a lot of talk about this from friends on places I visit on the internet (Live Journal etc.) and all the comment seems to be that dry pet food isn't affected. But if your kitty is showing any signs of being out of sorts, then it would be best to take him/her to the vet for a ch...

How about "Ladyhawke" as the turning point? Made some time in the mid 1980s if I remember rightly. It's not "A Werewolf Movie" as such, but I'd class the main character as a werewolf and he's certainly not the Big Bad of the story. It's a decent story and not a bad film (although...
