Well we have had the size (GROWTH) limitations mentioned numerous places before like how tall, how fat, how muscular. What I was asking was the reverse, how short, how thin, how petite or puny could it be when in werewolf form? As in how comfortable are you people with a midget werewolf, or a femal...

Honestly I would think they'd still be pretty plump in both forms. Though having to hunt or be on the run would give you some incentive to work off that beer belly.

Wolves are pretty lean creatures, so near as I can tell, so I don't see the problem in a skinny werewolf. My roommate in college was 6'8" and very lean (cross country runner, nice guy), so I could believe in both of those proportions, but anything taller and I think it would be problematic for ...

I think the one fur color thing has already been said somewhere as a cliche. The fur almost never looks like wolf fur or that of any canine. Another cliche is the overly long front arms and short back legs, this muscle head version tends to pop up alot especially in animated forms. To a certain ext...

Heh, rogue goblins. I must be out of touch because I never knew goblins had such a rich, vibrant lexicon of terms to describe their lives.

I can honestly say I've never seen a goblin hunter, though in the long run that isn't saying much.

At least in "Cycle of the Werewolf" they take the silver to a gunsmith, so that's plausable at least. I hope someone didn't mention this, but I'm a little tired of the whole werewolf hunter idea.I guess I just don't see why werewolves need to be hunted by a crazed group of vigilantes or a ...

Perhaps other forms of physiologic stress, such as an allergic reaction, a bad injury, or simply going a long time without shifting? Yeah, that would be interesting, like a food allergy or something reacting badly and causing a shift. I don't know if wolves also react badly to chocolate like dogs, ...

Heh, all I can think of now is a werewolf with the munchies, reaching his paw into a bag of Doritos. Seems like a pretty efficient way to get yourself some heavy set werewolves.
"Dude, my paw is like totally HUGE."

I guess if you used synthetic hormones you could induce transformations that are normally controlled by strong emotional responses. A little bit of epinephrine and your sprouting fur in no time. As for plants all I can think of are the stereotypical herbs you find in your standard witch's pantry. Be...

If you have the streotypical ideal werewolf (better speed, higher stregnth, incredible endurance and hieghtened senses at all times) serving in your squad or as your battle buddy, wouldnt YOU want then to have your six when engaging the enemy? When lead starts flyin`, you have to have somebody you ...

New ideas you ask? Alright then, how about this: What if the army doesn't even bother with making an effort at werewolf soldiers? We keep talking about werewolf soldiers as if they become ultimate weapons for war in the new milenium, but how can we be sure of that? If you're only a werewolf for one ...

Hello Everyone

Well, I've been going to this forum long enough without really posting anything, so I suppose an introduction is in order. Hello, my name is Avogadro. It is a pleasure to meet you all. So, as you may have guessed, I am a fan of werewolves. I like reading werewolf fiction, but I often have trouble fi...

Related to the puberty bit, I'm tired of lycanthropy being the magic answer to any percieved male deficiencies. "Oh man, before that viscious attack I was a picked on loser, now I'm stronger than the jocks and can get any woman I want. And I'm hairy. How bizarre..." I suppose the whole dea...

This thread reminds me of a movie I caught on the SciFi Channel once called Metal Beast (I think), it involves the military trying to cultivate werewolf warriors with bad results (no shocker there). I think a lot of what would happen depends on the nature of werewolves themselves. Somebody brought u...
