Wouldn't, after the fetus has developed some, the physical force of a transformation cause a miscarriage unless some form of magic or medical science were applied to either stop the transformation for the time or to better protect the fetus? Or, if its a phase transformation that involves the concen...

What about residual oils, or lack of. I'm pretty sure there's a difference in the bodily produced oils between something with fur and something without. So a shower might be needed after a shift.
