Hi Guys!
I had an absolute BLAST seeing you all this year (again) And meeting a bunch of new faces!
I think Friday night was the highlight of the con for me - it was great getting together, chatting about Freeborn, introductions and the mad scramble to find a place that was still serving food ...

I'm actually REALLY happy with the costume that ShadowSaber made for me last year - imho it looks more like a real wolf and less monsterous (I don't like the furless face look, etc)

I'm going to have to go with Van Hellsign as well....
I also noticed the strange ears (and of course no tail) - I think the main problem with the ears is that they were very thin, virtually hairless, and positioned on the very TOP of the head, instead of connecting lower on the skull like an actual ...

I've thought about this too - and unfortunately this is one of the biggest stumbling blocks I've thought about as far as the plausibility.
I don't buy the "less dense" idea - I can't picture a 120lb female gestalt form werewolf no matter how you cut it - the fur alone would be pretty heavy. (Mass ...

Personally, I never much cared for the "shedding" idea - be it fur/hair, teeth or fingernails - I can understand the logistics of it - especially given how mammals work - but I don't know - for some reason I guess growing a pelt of fur, and then shedding it off every time one changed always seemed ...

Teeth and Bones - things that don't add up
In most respects, humans and canines aren't ALL that different anatomically speaking. We're both "higher" order mammals, our common ancestors going back to small rat or shrew like creatures. We're mammalian, most of the bones in our body have an equivalent in a canine, albeit the specific morphology ...

I always found the concept of interesting shifting dilemmas for a lycanthrope quite interesting :3

Well, it also all comes down to the fact that DNA is the basic building blocks for ALL Species. You can't infect someone with "wolf" DNA and have them turn into carbon copies of the wolf unless you did a damn near complete replacement of someone's DNA. Admittedly, we share a pretty high percentage ...

It looks like most of what I would have contributed has been said already.
I agree that the "infection" would need to be transmitted via bodily fluids into the blood stream of the new werewolf (ie, a scratch wouldn't do it, unless the werewolf had been sucking on his claws.) Perhaps even so much as ...
