Re: Traditional Werewolf Art Commissions
Hey Folks, Kigai again, just wanted to let ya know I'm open for commissions again, and I've got a more updated commission list. I'm still shooting for a very reasonable price for my work, so if you don't have a lot of money, but want some quality werewolf art, check out my price list: http://kigaioo...

Re: Traditional Werewolf Art Commissions
I can do people with a photo ref, I've honestly never tried a transformation sequence before. But I'll tell you what I can do. If you'd like to send me your photo references, I'll sketch out the piece, and if you'd like me to continue it, then you can pay. I normally won't even do a sketch with no m...

Re: Speech?
This is certainly a topic I've racked my mind over for quite a while. The most logical answer I could come up with is that the werewolf has its own language, which would appear to be a much more complex version of the feral wolf's form of communication (body language, subtle audio cues, scent, etc.)...

A good lot of animal behavior is instinctually based though, such as caching, scent marking, & a lot of communication.

The Downsides to Lycanthropy
Every once in a while, when I'm reading an old werewolf story, or watching a werewolf movie, I come across some strange 'disadvantages' to being a werewolf. Aside from the standard stuff (i.e. Silver allergies, Uncontrollable temper, etc.), has anyone found any other strange side-effects/downsides/d...

Re: Do You Ever Dream About Werewolves?
Haven't had too many werewolf dreams, but thus far they've all involved me either kicking the crap out of some vamps, or nearly hurting someone close to me.

Re: Grimm
I saw the first episode (I think, it involved werewolves). I enjoyed it very much, but being that I don't have cable, I didn't get to see any other episodes. Looked like a really promising series though.

Re: The Grey - (2012)
I went and saw this movie, loved it. Just go in knowing that what is being portrayed in the wolves is very inaccurate. It's like the great film "The Edge," monster-izing a real world animal to make a thriller movie. No harm intended. As long as you don't take any of the information from th...

Not gonna lie, I've lost hope for the series. If the next director is smart, they'll jump back on track and (hopefully) bring in some sort of war with the humans.

Re: Would you Willingly turn someone?
Considering I were a werewolf that could have the mental ability to control myself in such a form, yes, but under quite a few conditions. 1. They need to be mentally stable, with no quarrels with others that I know of (Don't want a vengeful werewolf running around town) 2. They know every aspect of ...

Re: Underworld: Awakening
Of all of the Underworld films, this one is my least favorite. It just didn't do it for me. I also didn't like the fact that the majority of the rank and file Lycans have been reduced to being nothing more than giant mangy sewer rats. Maybe I should've payed closer attention, but could someone plea...

Not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed in the movie. I enjoyed the first and the third, but this one I must say was worse that the second.

Re: Good Books???
There's "The Werewolf Book: The Encyclopedia of Shape-Shifting Beings" by Brad Steiger. It basically goes over just about all of the werewolves in cinema and literature. If you're looking for ideas on what could/should happen to your werewolves, this is a great starting place. There's a s...

Traditional Werewolf Art Commissions
Hey guys, I'm a bit new here, but I noticed this board hasn't been used in a long time, so I thought I'd throw up my commission flyer in case any of you are interested in some cheap werewolf/wildlife art. Some examples of my work can be found on my dA page: http://kigaiookami.deviantart.com/ I focus...

Name's Kigai
Hello all, Name's Kigai, you can thank Sugarpoultry for me hearing about this. I've seen the symbols, some screen-caps, and even the ducks over the past few years whilst browsing the internet, but never new what any of it actually meant until Sugar posted about the re-birth of the movie today on dA....
