Re: Waxing and Waning

Rori's phone flashed on and lit her face, but she quickly slipped it back into her bag when she saw she had no texts or calls. Glancing in the corner of her eye as the door to the art rooms opened, she let out a loud sigh. She didn't move a muscle as she looked out into the parking lot. It was eeril...

Oh, Defensorem, there's a problem with a little bit of your post.
The waxing crescent would be going into into the first quarter moon, not the full moon.

Re: Waxing and Waning (Info & Characters)

I think the setting should at a modern college town in the middle of the woods by a lake. Sounds great. Lets throw in some werewolf hunters who work for a secret government facility that trains and experiments with captured werewolves. (just a suggestion.) Also sounds good. I have an idea for two c...

Waxing and Waning

[Information and Characters: LINK ] Fingers interlaced as long arms stretched above sandy brown hair that tumbled around smooth shoulder blades; the pale silk fabric hung loosely on the feminine shoulders and hips yet did not conceal the soft curves. The young woman swung her arms in front of her a...

Re: Waxing and Waning (Info & Characters)

I'll start the RP, it's been three days since I've posted this. I've seen others on, but none seem interested....
But let's get started, hopefully others will join after.

Waxing and Waning (Info & Characters)

Werewolf RP! Basic werewolf information (for this RP (and is personally my 'werewolf philosophy' in a sense)): Shifting To me, the more willpower for have, the more likely you are to have better control while in werewolf form. Yes, the first many times you change, it would be difficult, but over tim...

Yeah, I'll probably just do a werewolf RP.
Hopefully it'll keep me going in my October pictures and my novel for NaNoWriMo.

Seeking RPers

Hello! I'm hoping to start an RP that will hopefully last; most usually tend to fizzle and die out either from people just not coming back and posting or from people not making an effort to give the other RPers something to work off of. This thread is to gain some ideas for an RP that possibly a han...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

I don't see how people think werewolves are just non-stop, howling, snarling, raging, 'mindless' beasts that just run around killing everything in sight and don't give a damn.

Yes, the wolf instincts may over-take the human side of weak-minded people, but still!! Wolves are not that reckless!

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

I'm going to be an enormous jerk and point out that the werewolf in the upper right of the montage of 'preferred' werewolves that Goldenwolfen put up, looks suspiciously like a screen-capture from Van Helsing (like, a movie with werewolves in it -- just saying). Heh, heh, heh... :D Off topic: I tot...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

This whole topic of a 'beautiful' werewolf was not started in the fact that it should be more 'modernized' or 'Twilight-sparkly'. The 'beautiful' werewolf that Goldenwolf is trying to get across is the fact that they actually look more wolf than fugly, monster, rawr-ness. Just like Trinity said, mov...

Re: Speech?

A werewolf is not a full wolf. A werewolf is not a full human. Wolves do not have the muscles in their lips in order to form words, but humans do. Since the 'wolf' part of a werewolf 'forms out' from the human physique, wouldn't the human muscles stay in the same spot but just change to contour to a...

Re: A beautiful werewolf?

I'd have to agree more with Goldenwolf; the way Hollywood has always represented werewolves is almost... mocking in a way. Like 'Werewolves are only a monster to be feared, there is nothing good, nothing beautiful about a werewolf or being one.' Yes, werewolves are supposed to be a combination of 'm...

Re: Speech?

Hmm, that is interesting. I'm guessing that it would be innate, in that body language [for humans] is just known, not essentially learned in a sense. And just like the other senses of a werewolf, you'd just be able to know in general what you're capable of doing, though everything does need practice.

Speech?

Not sure if this particular topic was brought up, but I've always wondered what others thought about it. Werewolves are human-wolf hybrids, correct? They can stand on their hind legs [bipedal] as well as all four [quadrupedal], they have opposable thumbs like humans where wolves do not, they have st...
