Re: Werewolves in the Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim (spoilers)
I have yet to buy Skyrim, though I'm looking forward to it.
Also, still very skeptical about The Elder Scrolls Online. Time will tell.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010--Man turning into a werewolf.
I stumbled across this by accident; it's a WAV audio clip from MS PP titled, "man turning into a werewolf."
It sounds like a pig being tortured, or maybe one that's giving birth.
I don't know, maybe it's more realistic than I think--someone else should give it a listen.

Protect-IP Act
New bill being put through Congress (some say rushed). Full text of the bill. Its purpose is to, ostensibly, combat copyright infringement by going after websites whose sole purpose is to spread copyrighted material. Concerns have been raised over whether the measures and definitions the bill propo...

Re: What should get a remake / adaptation?
I definitely agree on Gargoyles, but I also would enjoy seeing a lot of the Toonami lineup make a comeback. Not even remakes, but just reruns would make me happy. The Transformers series, Beast Wars, etc. FLCL The Powerpuff Girls Dexter's Laboratory Courage the Cowardly Dog Gundam Wing Thundercats (...

Re: Texas Republicans trying to make being gay illegal
How can you all be so sure it isn't just a hiccup in the pattern? How about the UN voting to remove a reference to sexual orientation in a resolution condemning arbitrary and unjustified executions? That is not to say that I believe Church and State should be entirely separate. Church, on the basis...

I saw this, but I didn't say anything cause I didn't think anyone else would know.
I've bought a few from them. I'm sad to see them gone, but I'm relatively certain that with enough success CD Projekt will re-open it, or something similar. Fingers crossed for Witcher 2.

Re: Colbert and Stewart march on D.C.
In one sense I think you're right. True neutrality would usually imply that you are seen as separate from all sides in a conflict, so if a side in a conflict doesn't, and treats them as part of the other side, you could say they haven't managed to stay neutral. (I'm getting Gundam SEED flashbacks ri...

Re: Colbert and Stewart march on D.C.
Hopefully Stewart will figure that out when he sees the rally and will stop trying to play middle man in the future. What's wrong with trying to play the middle-man? I don't recall Steward saying this was a rally against extremists groups, just extremist behavior. Just because you can present group...

Re: Heat transfer to energy for mass?
Use it to do what? An unstable neutron is a free neutron, meaning it's not part of anything else, so it couldn't constitute an organism of any sort. Even if it could, free neutrons are radioactive; they undergo beta decay in order to stabilize themselves into an atomic structure. This creates a lot ...

I don't think it's technically possible to generate cold.Sharfan wrote:Yeah, I see how, after they're transformed they would give off heat, but while transforming, they would absorb it, thus, inversely, meaning they would give off cold.
