Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

Hm, well, its neither the genes not the memes that procreate - its the organisms/minds that hold them. Maybe this sounds like nitpicking, but this whole gene-meme equation is full of conceptual problems - something that even Richard Dawkins who initially coined the term lucidly acknowledged. If you...

Graphics for Freeborn?

I'd love to make a few banners, maybe some desktops images, and other such promotional material. I'm sure there are others out there that would like to apply their trades as well to help out in the same sort of way. Of course to do so would require the raw image files to start from. I could do scree...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

There are times where I wish I went to college. But I have to really on the internet for my knowledge. With how much information is out there to learn, it's not a bad thing. There are plenty of people willing to share what they know. Heck look at what we managed to do here with The Pack! If it were...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

*breaking up the post* *returning the idea back on topic* So humans build beliefs around what their needs are for survival. Since we have a higher intelligence to think outside of ourselves, to ponder things on abstract and esoteric levels, we question our existence. The "why?" in our live...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

Actually you've hit on something one of my professors in college told us about (this was for a class about marketing). Memes (NOT me-mes, meems like the word gene) are a form of thought "genetics". Like genes they "procreate". I have a thought. I think it's awesome to share, so I...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

Ok...you have one that's bitten by a werewolf. Right then and there he knows change is coming. But what about one that was born a werewolf and has no clue that he is one? Will he be able to explain what is going on within himself? Is "am I a monster" be racing in his mind? Depends on how ...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

I do also like the comment about the basic instincts being the same. It's true.. almost everything we do, dream of, innovate or talk about has to do with three basics.. comfort, food, sex. we're animals lets face it.. money falls into power or comfort... sex covers just about everything else.. and ...

Re: Red Riding Hood (2011)

Werewolves = creature feature to Hollywood. I suppose. :/ I've notice, although I could be wrong, that Hollywood = big money. Where the money is successful, that's where they'd reinvest. They don't often like to take chances. Anthony took a huge chance with the pack, and as far as investment vs prof...

Yep. Been there, done that. However my first truly horrifying werewolf-like dream I had involved a wolf skin sliding off a tree and onto me. Merging into my flesh. Talk about surreal!

I saw Goldenwolf's Dev Art post and jumped at the chance to come back here. :) I miss all those awesome discussions. The word will get out again, but mind some of those older members may not return, or may not have valid email accounts here anymore. I've passed word on my FB, and twitter accounts. B...

Re: Red Riding Hood (2011)

I actually liked it. It was more of a murder mystery w/a werewolf in it. The clues weren't obvious. The idea of a blood link between a werewolf and it's human child seemed awesome to me. The idea that the "strength" increased with each successive generation of "relations turned wolf&q...
