Re: If there was a cure...
^.^ True, but there are just so many combinations of "what if's" and "this and that's". For me it would be primarily a control/danger thing. Not that I'm a control freak, but being out of control and a danger not just to myself but my family, community, etc - yeah either cure me ...

Re: Bullying :'3
Oh.. and above all do the possible hardest thing ever: Own your mistakes and apologize for them at least once - even if you think you weren't in the wrong. You CAN apologize without "loosing face" or "loosing ground". It works like this "Oh, I am sorry if I hurt your feeling...

Re: Bullying :'3
Personal experience is this - it is easy to misunderstand. Text is bland, and the how one writes can sometimes be misunderstood by someone else. This is a world-wide forum and what some folks might take as sarcasm others may take as rudeness. Always tempter the emotion with a bit of clarity. Ask gen...

Re: That US gun control thing
One thing that a lot of people are missing is something lovec1990 said. If people want to own a gun they will do so illegally. The right to own guns came from British suppression of American colonists. In a way it's in there to help protect us from tyrannical governments with fire power. The problem...

Re: A scientifical way to explain how werewolves shift?
Smaller werewolves? No, sorry I can't accept that. :P That also goes against werewolves being powerfull beings as well. Ah the wonder that is perception! Just because a werewolf might be smaller doesn't make them less powerful. Some people are surprised at how strong and tenacious some of the small...

Re: A Moral Dilemma
This was started on another thread, but was suggested it be better placed here,. Let me explain the scenario. IN Freeborn.. Sherri, (like in the original movie script) is bitten accidentally.. by what she thinks is just a natural wolf.. she passes out from the attack.. but not killed.. The wolf in ...

That is a fascinating thought Scott. Thanks for the question John. I'll have to think about this for a minute and respond. Right now my 1 yr old needs lunch.

How about, rather then generic... specific? Like the traits and such of /Freeborn/ werewolves? More like what fan sites of things like Underworld do?

Re: A shadow of what we once were
It may be that the scale and the breadth of the forum right now is a bit much for even old-returning-members to take in. I know for me I can't read through every thread since the last time I visited. It's too much. I'm a mom now too, which wasn't the case back in the day when I first came into the f...

Re: Real Werewolves, are they out there.
It depends on your culture view, and what kind of "were-creature" you want to believe in... AND what you consider "real". Santa is real. He's a spirit of Christmas. A SPIRIT. ;) A thought that takes life through human interaction. That interaction is real. The influence is real.....

Re: When did the idea of non evil werewolves come from?
Werewolves, or any were-creature, myths tend to differ from culture to culture. There is also the different types of transformations to consider that tend to get lumped under this one topic of "were-creature". Some cultures have subverted and made "evil" things from other culture...

Re: Real Werewolves, are they out there.
A lot of the shapeshifter myths comes from other sources. Bear-shifter/berserkers - aka "wearing the bear shirt" from Norse/viking mythos. They took a "potion" or could purportedly set themselves into a trance like state to become unstoppable (at that time) warriors of death and ...

I like that idea. Some of us have been posting on our various networks and what not - I know Golden Wolf posted something and that's what brought me in. I've gotten some interest from other areas I visit. But a mass email might be the thing?
