I strongly agree with ShadowFang's point(s). If werewolves are infectious, and are concerned about their own safety, I can imagine that they'd be extremely picky about who gets infected, but they take such meticulous care so as to never infect anyone , they'll have gone extinct. Personally, I like t...

Horror and a nice werewolf story, and not necceserilly mutually exclusive goals. Though in my opinion, emphasizing werewolf sexuality and having a good werewolf story, would indeed be mutually exclusive goals. I just don't see those two goals being able to co-exist in one movie. That's what the gen...

Actually, I don't think that cancer would be terribly difficult for a werewolf's regenerative abilities to handle, or at least, some kinds of cancer, at least. Cancer cells may have originated from one's own body, but they do register as "foreign cells" to the immune system. Tumors arise w...

It was one of the most craptacular werewolf movies ever made (and that says a lot), in an odious attempt to tie together all of the loose ends from "The Howling"'s 4, 5, and "The Howlings: Freaks."
That, and it had one of the lamest transformations ever.

Please don't use the prefix "were" to refer to the wolf. It comes from Old English meaning "man."

I can’t remember the exact source, as it has been a few years since I saw the documentary, but there was a theory that aging was directly related to a particular chemical, gene, whatever, inside human cells. This “gene” (I will call it this for lack of knowledge of the proper term) was present at b...

I'd hate to be a werewolf with AIDS. You'd have horrible multiple secondary infections, but your flesh would regenerate just enough that you'd never die of them. This strikes me as much worse. That would be like saying a werewolf wouldn't be able to kill himself by chopping off his own arms because...

That would work, if they hadn't made the werewolves look like tailless monkey-lion hybrids who were raped by the ugly-stick.

2 Feet? That's a REALLY drastic increase in hieght. And what if the Werewolf is already 7+ feet tall as a human? Then you get a 9+ foot tall werewolf. I don't think many people actually REALIZE how big 7 feet tall is. It's IMMENSE, I'm 6.2 myself and I feel like a little kid when standing next to s...

Why not have Heat Sensitive Visions, something that looks a little like the way the wolves see in the movie Wolven. Real wolves don't have infravision. Yeah but we're talking werewolves here,it's supernatural enough already that a guy turns into a wolf, why not add infravision while we're at it. I've...

Generally, animals that can see better in the dark, like cats, dogs, wolves, have a membrane in their retinas called a "tapetum," which reflects more light into the retinas.
This is also why their eyes glow green, rather than red, when you shine a light into their eyes.

I hope they don't get carried away in the sound department. some sound effects is ok during the transformation. i just don't want it sounding like a tree falling in the forest. I now have this horrible horrible horrible mental image of a guy turning into a werewolf, and he shouts "TIMBER"...
