I don't see why; sensory overload would only be a problem for maybe an hour or so after one's first shift.

I'm in agreement with that; my earlier statements were just to evidence that the possibility still remains. However, I see werewolves as much, well, friendlier and more accepting than vampires, who seem to typically have a cold outlook, and be prone to things like prejudice. Also, I can follow your ...

Freely available WW stories?

I'm curious how much of this sort of thing is out there; anything ranging from half-page shorts to Scott's two novels fits what I'm looking for. The closest things I've found are miscellaneous furry story archives, and those tend to not be updated, and flooded with reading material that's... not exa...

When referring to werewolves, I'm talking about the kind that has a habit of changing their physical makeup. The mental thing is pretty much a given; I'm likely to start calling myself therian one of these days.

:edit: Typo fixed.

I still don't under stand where ye are getting the nerd thing. A nerd is much different; while I consider myself to be a geek, not a nerd, I do believe that a nerd is significantly more respectable than what ye are indicating. Just a bit more obsessive than is healthy :) Ok, I'm obsessive too. I'm h...

Well, there is the thing about it taking quite a while to grow; an entire limb would take long enough that you could easily hide somewhere isolated in the wilderness and live like that until it regrew, where you could start anew somewhere else. Besides, I'd much prefer to slightly increase risk of ...

As if the little in-ear headphones would fit anyway.

Besides, I suspect it'd be hard to get the volume low enough that it's comfortalbe to us and still maintain some good control over it.

Well, I TRY to use as many greens, browns, and grays as I can get my hands on. However, at the moment I'm inundated with khaki, so there's a bit of a discrepancy there.

@Terastas: Didn't notice that Goldenwolf had shirts available; I may get one (or more) of those.

I'm with vrikasatma; basically, a nice balance between usability as a paw for four-legged movement and manipulative ability. I doubt ye'd be able to do things like read braille with a gestalt's paw/hand, but eyes would regenerate if damaged anyway, right?

As much as I'd love for their existance to be proven, I don't expect to see such proof. Howver, as I may have indicated previously, I do believe that becoming ...

It's amazing how many similarities there are between cultures that had no contact with each other (American Indians and Eastern Europeans for example) back before 1492 and all that. We may know "a lot" but that doesn't mean we know everything Hmm. That's actually a very good p oint you've...
