Human shifting into wolf? No. Not possible. It defies the sheer laws of nature and physics on so many levels it in itself it is an impracticality in our world. The idea of Werewolves can, however, be figurative especially in the 'bristling' of aggression. Some people 'transform' during a state of a...

Re: Yay for Gaelic & Freeborn Minglings
ITs been there for awhile. I believe AB said the second (Ni heolas go haontios) was more towardss "You don't know someone until you live with them" or something. My memory's bad. But it's suiting for Freeborn (Just think of the guy saying it being Jack, then it fits. ) Yeah. That's...

Wolf Lake was cumbersome, in my opinion, at best. The idea was okay but the sketchiness of the plot didn't draw in people. It was alienating and needed, desperately, refining. And the open seen with a few random set of breasts and bad TV publiced sex doesn't really turn people on. What's the first ...

I joined only recently yet I personally find Freeborn as the first moving chance to see something done not for the shock value an element carries but something with perception and a change for the group of people who love the ideology. Plus it's allowed a common group to organize in a 'community' . ...

Anthropology and Environmental Studies major-- I'm so a student chasing a double major. Complete insanity. My hobbies are horrificly wide ranged -- hunting, archery, tanning hides, crafts, dealing with animals, volunteering, languages, and of course lots and lots of research in everything from dog ...

Yay for Gaelic & Freeborn Minglings
I have no idea where to post this but I was actually wondering if it was just me or if the background changed on the Freeborn page -- Here. I thought the edges didn't have writing on them so now I'm curious... "Bean mo chroi" is on the page on the left (means 'Woman of my heart') On the ri...

We've all been prepped for the third movie thing to go down, that's what the X-Men deal was, a trilogy. I just want Rogue to stop acting like she's perpetually stoned eight year old. Any functioning teenager wouldn't act like such a complete moron or so damned helpless. I just want better, less clic...

..... am I the only one HORRIFIED?! Granted, I am imagining pre-chewed cereal spit back into in a can. And Slim-Fast ... so... ...I'm just generally scared of any 'not really a drink but not really solid food' stuff that's created. I would try it though. Nothing is as bad as Slim-Fast ... except Ens...

I think this is a valid concept. Many works of fiction have shown the werewolf to be attuned to nature in a quasi-mystical way. The very concept of Therianthropy is centered around this link to nature. Of course that doesn't seem to be important in a one-on-one fight, so this idea probably won't ge...

Werewolves are supernatural so I think that outside of their union with the elements of man and beast they are also spiritually connected creatures. Namely to the elements of nature -- but not so transfixing to forget about the human realm of things. They know when something's up, naturally. Animals...

We talked of things today in class like this. The aging mechanism in things. As someone in anthropology I know that each part in it makes it whole. A good example is archeology . And in archeology, what is important? Age. The older , the better . Not so with modern day elements, however. The lecture...
