There'd be no chasing after awhile... just a sea of squirming bodies and poo creating a larger garbage heap of compounding regenerating flesh. It sounds like some bizarre H.P. Lovecraft style hell. Carbon based lifeforms never dying, continuing to reproduce and generate themselves into a massive blo...

Personally, I love horse meat. But I have no hobby boundaries for food - namely because it's as arbitrary (IMHO) as picking the color of my underwear. Why don't you try human then... Wait... What is a hobby boundary? Haha... You misunderstand me - I am talking anthropologically. I would try human b...

Personally, I love horse meat. But I have no hobby boundaries for food - namely because it's as arbitrary (IMHO) as picking the color of my underwear. To me the cultural construction of health is too diverse to start nailing down if coffee is good for you or if eating a steak will give you cancer. G...

Full bionic knee replacement... After being laid up from knee surgery, my posterior is growing into this lounge chair. I dislike it.

I need me a bionic knee!

I have seen more than any of you on a kill floor You might want to update your knowledge banks... My father was a butcher and he took my brothers and I to a slaughterhouse several times. My brother used to keep a cow's eye in a jar of formaldehyde and took it to school for show-and-tell once. Don't...

Wow, that is very pretty! I love that shade of blue. Do you mind me asking from where you got it? I think I may need something similar for next year. Recollections They are super nice, quick and produced dynamite outfits. Do not hesitate to call for sizing questions. The hat was a miraculous custom...

I have seen more than any of you on a kill floor, since I've been there since was old enough to walk. What you're describing is very similar to what happens in a regular slaughter house. However, with a common misunderstanding bloated by the fact you or your government teacher have not been on many ...

From the perspective of someone who usually lurks: it comes up when I discuss it with people in my love for a good fiction/fantasy/sci-fi film. Usually with my archaeology crew near Long Island... they seem intrigued by the notation. I also think the great links that get posted have a lot to do with...

No wolves. Saw lots of moose, and the morning before we drove from Anchorage out there, a young woman who was all ready set up at the site, had a bear prowling around her tent. LOTS of bear - saw my first grizz on the way home crossing the road. Big. Unmistakable. Thrilling. Again with the big... ee...

Road Trip: New York to Alaska!

Hey-hey! Hopefully someone still remembers me - ha - but, in regards to just being back from a grand adventure and not really forgetting this corner of cyberspace was here, I thought I'd try and muster up some conversation about road trips. This summer I drove solo from New York - the Adirondack Mou...

Hollywood is a rip-off; that's how they make money. Some people claim there are only five kinds of movies: ... Others would go even further and claim that there are only two: ... I think that's the mentality that allows Hollywood to just produce crappy remake after crappy remake over and over again...

I used to live with a Shakespeare addict. I like the stories - but I'm not obsessive. No matter what I do I have to go to plays - but I am 45 minutes from Broadway when I'm at university. It's a by proxy sort of thing - there's no excuse not to living so close. If you ever get a chance - go see one,...

I have a HUGE list at Netflix of movies I love - I have no favorites amongst that 1000 or so. I like older movies from 1920's - 1960's. Plus the occasional classy stuff that came out thereafter. Most modern stuff is ill acting. As far as 'favorite movie' - I'll go shallow and awful right now but th...

Hollywood is a rip-off; that's how they make money. That's why I like going to the see a production... At least I'm paying large groups of live somebody to busting their bottoms for a good production. Or watching earlier movies... like Sahara (1943) or anything with Humphrey Bogart in it. Right now? No idea. I'm going to say one thing about Hillary - she terrifies me. Not because she's a woman but because she's a snake in the grass. So what you are saying is...if smokers choose to smoke EVERYWHERE ...they basically own the world. No one can ever tell them to leave, or stop...but if the non-smokers don't want to accept the smokers atmosphere, they have to leave themselves to get away from them. If smokers choose to camp out at ...

Yeah, but you also have the responsibility not to cause undue duress in a public area . I can't drive my car over lawns and sidewalks even though people are free to get out of my way when I'm doing this. I was generally talking about car exhaust vs. cigarette smoke but I wasn't about to emulate the...

Winter driving definitely has a knack to it. They didn't scrape, salt, or sand our road one night and I ended up fish-talling for half mile the other night.

Thankfully we own all the property on both sides of this road (and I have yet to use it as ditch-space).
