I think that werewolves would always try to avoid biting people and if they bite them they would rather kill them instead of letting them run away. People would say 'Oh, okay, here's a human killed by a wolf', cause a dead bitten human can't develope werewolfism. There would be a search for the wolf...

and thats where the wolven instincts kick in, to act as a buffer for the human mind from going insane with the flood of scents, smells, sights and sounds that previously couldn't be sensed. That's exactly what I'm thinking. But this 'buffer-function' could cause some negative things as well: It cou...

I also prefer no imbalances, cause I'm also sick of stories that favor male werewolves. If there is an imbalance then I would also like to see a good explanation for it. For example: I liked the way how Kelley Armstrong in her book Bitten explained why there are only male werewolves: The Gen is only...

I'm writing a story including werewolves and my characters use to call a werewolf that acts like the hollywood-kills-everything-at-full-moon-type a 'Bloodwolf' (not very original, I know). They also call a special partial lunar eclipse a 'Bloodmoon' because of its red color and the fact - in the set...

Okay, I cannot answer the question, but I have a suggestion why the ability of a werewolf to change into another form could be seen as natural: It is the perfect mimicry. There are a lot of creatures out there that can change their appearance by changing their skin. I'm thinking of chameleons (hopef...

What is Wolf's Rain? I don't know it. Is it a movie? Ahh and chezarawolf: you're not weird. I think many people think that werewolves are 'hot'. Most of them would never say this openly'' We're just bold enough to state this openly. Yeah, this black werewolf was definitly hot. (Gonna see the m...

No, not the entire genetic code would be changed, just the structure. The physical structure of a human and a wolf and the Gestaltform is different and because of this the hormone would just change the 'configuration' of the cell. The DNA is always the same, just the 'building' changes slightly. May...

I think my obsession about werwolves begun when i first saw the movie Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox. I always loved this movie, cause the idea that someone could be able to shift into a wolf fascinated me. I always loved wolves and the daydream of being one just for a short time fascinated me as wel...

Okay, seems to me that I got out my thoughts about this a little bit to imprecise, so let me try to fix this: In my theory on this there is one virus-like thing that rewrites the entire genetical structure of its host once it came into its body. The altered human cells - now the cells of a werewolf ...

I was always interested in the way how the transformation into a werewolf works. The more I thought about it the more questions aroused. 1. If it's a virus, how is it passed on? 2. If the virus changes the genetical structure of its host, how does this work? My Answers to this: 1. The virus is passe...

Yeah, I think a bitten werewolf would have - at least in the beginning - a lot of problems with dealing with the strong and new inputs given by his/hers heightened senses. I mean wouldn't it be very difficult to handle for a bitten werewolf -let's imagine it's a male one - to smell a woman who has h...

I think how a werewolf thinks would depend on the fact if he/she is a born werewolf or a bitten one. I think a born werewolf would be more dependant on its instincts and would consider them more easily when making a decision. A born werewolf knows intuitivly when it is due to trust his/her first ins...

If a real werewolf gets captured ... well, then the werewolf-community - if there is something like that - would have a real big problem, i suppose ... Maybe they would try to free the captured werewolf and destroy everything that could be used as a serious evidence. Maybe they would try to suppress...

I agree with chezarawolf that werewolves a very beautiful beings, no matter if male or female. I wouldn't say that a Werewolf in Wolf-Form is hot in the meaning of being (sexual) attractive, but a male Werewolf in Gestalt-Form can be very hot (I'm refering to Gestaltforms like Goldenwolf draws them ...

I think if I would become a werewolf I would tell it to my sisters, cause we are very close to each other. And I would tell it to my mother for the same reason, of course. Telling this to other people than my family would always been a very great risk, so I would tell my friends this little secret o...

My theory on this is that humans tend to blend out everything that is beyond the 'rules of the normal world'. It is to scaring even to think about the possibility of the existence of something like a werewolf. Everytime we see something that doesn't fit into our perception of the world we desperatel...

In my personal view werewolves are in the first place neutral beings. They have (taken all together) all our strenghts and weaknesses. It is my opinion that humans are animals and therefore a werewolf isn't something evil, because they are just another kind of animal. Humans tend to surpress their i...

Thanks, Chezarawolf! This would have been my interpretation too, from that, what i already read in this forum from people calling themselves therianthropes. So i could call myself maybe a therianthrope too, cause I'm having a very strong connection to wolves, especially to a spirit i tend to call th...

I would call the Wolfwalker Novels some kind of 'High Fantasy'. They play on a foreign planet. The Protagonist is a woman called Dion (forget her full name, sorry). She's a Healer an has a very special connection to wolves, cause she has a thelepathically link to 'the gray ones'. In the setting of t...
