Kraig's heart lept into his throat as he heard the not too distant sound of wolves growling and fighting. The sounds quickly came close and suddenly the chaos poured right into his feild of view. In the forest clearing where the three of them lay, lit only by the moon above, a group of the beasts ap...

Lance gazed out the window of his room on the second floor of the manor. Headlights were steadily approaching. Morland and Shara had returned. He rushed from his room into the manor atrium just inside the main entrance and driveway. Lance’s apprenticeship hadn’t allowed him to go on field missions y...

Am I dead? Kraig looked around. He was sitting on the edge of a jagged cliff that seemed to strech miles and miles down below him. It was twilight, the sky had an errie violet shade to it. The moon shined full, rising higher and higher in the sky. Am I dreaming? Kraig stood up and turned around, on...

Hedorin casually walked across the forest floor as he read his brother’s message. When reached the banks of the Gerair River, he tore it to shreds and discarded it into the flowing water. It was customary that no message delivered to an agent in the field be kept, lest wrongful eyes read it. Hedorin...

The very nature of his life had forced Hedorin to be a light sleeper, which is likely why when he heard an arrow whistling through the air he bolted awake and alert. His keen eyes immediately traced the arrow it as it landed with a heavy thud just in front of him on the branch of the tree he slept o...

Hedorin relaxed as he realized he had not been followed. He reclined in the highest branches of a large redwood tree and contemplated his options. He shouldn't go near Soara again as long as that the Ry'ou were near her. At least he was confident she'd be safe so near their headquarters, but still, ...

His back still turned to the two of them, Hedorin grit his teeth. He stood idle for a moment then swiftly lept into the trees and out of sight. Well that didn't go very well at all. he thought frustrately to himself as he dashed from branch to branch atop the forrest's thick canopy. Now they're goin...
