Re: Gwarrraglable!
Like I said in chat, I think the designs you have already are showing some promise, and I'd love to see a blend of the old design with the new ideas you're proposing in terms of new designs, artwork, and a place for members to submit content. Getting this forum back off the ground won't be easy, but...

I remember you! Glad to hear you're doing well. I know this was posted back in July, but welcome back anyway, Indy ... er, Zandur!

Glad to see everyone, old and new! It's been a while, and I have something to share!
Hey everyone, long time no see! Just wanted to check back and see how things were going! :) For those who don't remember me, I’m Gevaudan, and although I was a frequent poster on The Pack back in 2008-2010, I haven’t made a post since then ( with the exception of one post I made back in 2012, if you...

It's been such a long time.
Wow. Just ... wow . I'm getting such a rush of nostalgia right now. I can't believe that this place is still going, and I'm glad to hear that new progress is being made on Freeborn. Indeed. Um, quick intro: I'm Gevaudan, and I used to be a frequent member of The Pack between 2008-2010, but I lost in...

Re: Regarding 'Freeborn'
On the whole, not a lot has happened publically in the last while. There was a flock of seagulls, a gas shortage, and that's about it. Nice Austin Powers reference. So, have we reached the consensus that Freeborn is dead, or is there still the possibility that Anthony's trying to build up his...

I think both movies started production around the same time too, except Repo! The Genetic Opera was around as a stage play long before anyone wrote the script for Repo Men.

Re: The Wolf's Code...
18. Never post a picture of yourself in werewolf form on an Internet forum, no matter how desperately you want to win the argument. On second thought, don't claim that you're a real werewolf, on the Internet or anywhere else, period.

Re: It is, apparently, a crime to commit blasphemy...
This might come as a surprise to some people, but there are blasphemy-laws in nearly every country... Religion rules the world. Well, religious people have control, not necessarily religion itself. People can be convinced to put religion and other personal matters aside in the name of allowing othe...

Re: Respect towards atheists
Terastas, although I agree with your statements on the difference between atheism and agnosticism (atheism deals with belief, and agnosticism deals with knowledge), could you clarify what you mean by this: Atheism, on the other hand, is a system of belief that not only denies the existence of a high...

Re: Respect towards atheists
You can be an atheist and be religious. Some if not most Buddhists do not support the existence of God, and yet they believe in the existence of the supernatural realm of nirvana. Shouldn't it then be possible to be an atheist and not be religious?

Re: Respect towards atheists
Aren't there two types of atheism? I thought that weak atheism involved a lack of belief in God, while strong atheism involved a belief in the lack of God.

Re: Venting
Terastas, I want to apologize for my behavior earlier. It was wrong of me to overreact. The reason I was throwing out a bunch of criticism with no real solutions or ideas on my end was because I was mad. I wasn't saying that I was mad and that I wanted others to fix the problems for me; I was just s...

Re: Venting
Exactly the mentality that people like Scott Brown want you to have. If you believe all politicians are crooks and liars, you believe that voting is futile, which in turn reduces the chances of actual reform ever occurring. I'll start voting once I start seeing some actual reform. I know that it ta...

Oh I never said that. The free market / private sector is absolutely capable of providing a better service than the government. The other end of that sentence, however, is "but if they they don't have to, they won't." Exactly. I just think that the solution to giving companies the incenti...

On the other hand, a government's primary (if not only) concern should be the safety and well being of it's people -- that said, there are some things that it would be completely irresponsible for the government to not attempt to regulate, if not provide directly (food, housing, education, security...

Frankly, I'm tired of this whole debate. I'm appalled at both parties, and being underage there's nothing I can do at the moment except watch other people decide my future. Re: James Cameron's Avatar
Just saw a couple of scenes of the movie at a friend who had a pirated version on his computer. My first impressions are that for a movie that supposedly is in the works for 10 years or something its quite disappointing and I wasn't exactly blown away by what I saw. Maybe its because of the hype, a...
