Re: Underworld: Awakening

Of all of the Underworld films, this one is my least favorite. It just didn't do it for me. I also didn't like the fact that the majority of the rank and file Lycans have been reduced to being nothing more than giant mangy sewer rats. Maybe I should've payed closer attention, but could someone plea...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?

The problem is that's essentially what AB did with the trailer. And, it worked... sort of. It generated interest for the project in a few corners, but they all wanted to f--- with it until it was every other generic piece of garbage already littering the theaters. As soon as it was obvious that AB ...

Re: Project Updates

Yet another Wolf Prince update... I've finished editing the book, and I tell ya, editing is TEDIOUS! I hate doing it, but if you want people to actually read it and take it seriously, you have to. The final word count stands at 120,000 words at 392 pages! WOOT! Even though WP is high fantasy, I wrot...

Yes, but what you "remember" can be forgotten.

Re: Project Updates

WOOT! Today I finished the rough draft of "Tales of Ulrica: The Wolf Prince". The final page count for the rough drafted ended up being 380 pages with aprox 117,000 words. This book is based upon a screenplay I wrote called, "The Wolf Prince" of which tells that tale of a good-he...

Re: Project Updates

Kay, umm. . . My brain is sort of in "blue screen of death" mode right now. "Inhuman" didn't make the cut. And don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting to. But seeing their "top 10%" of scripts containing a bunch of scripts with titles that absolutely scream "I aspi...

Re: What should get a remake / adaptation?

Vultron...(the one with the robot cats). As a small child, I loved Vultron. Then again, I think they might already be trying to get that one made. Dragon Slayer - The original film was a technical marvel for the day. It was the crown achievement for the old school stop-motion film making. Vermithrax...

Re: Knut the polar bear is dead.

That is sad. I saw it on the news... What makes me even more angry is that horrid group Peta, laying claim that the bear was driven mad due to being in a zoo. I sincerely despise PETA, as most of their members are mentally unstable themselves and have crackpot ideals about setting all domesticated a...

Re: Would you Willingly turn someone?

In my werewolfry world... you're either born a werewolf or your not. You can't become one, as it is all genetic. If I was a werewolf and conformed to the Hollywood concept of "biting" in order for them to become a werewolf. No. I would have enough issues taking care of myself. I couldn't g...

Great. Just great. The first time around it's on BBC, so I can't watch it except for those rare times I'm at somebody else's house and they have BBC. Now it's on SciFi just as I have headed out to the ass-end-of-nowhere where there's no TV at all. Aaaaargh! :x That's easy... just say... Hulu... I s...

Re: Being Human

I just watched the first episode of "Being Human" ala Americana... It is almost a word for word translation of the British version with the exception that they've spent a considerable amount of money on the effects. The Werewolf TF (you only see a partial TF) in particular revolves a more ...

Re: Project Updates

When it comes to sending scripts (of any sort), it is always best to send the script as a PDF. file, as this allows the viewer to see the script as it is intended no matter what type of device/program they are using. RTF. files just don't do the job, as a person's view settings could be different t...

Does it make more sense to have one thread for all project updates, or to let each project have its own thread? I'm more ears than anything else at the moment. I wasn't arguing against freedom of expression... :? As for my comment about Jeffrey Dohmer... Understand this most serial rapists, serial killers, and other criminally deviant peoples of the world didn't start out that way. They focused on a fetish, and when they couldn't get a (for lack of better ...

I'll be honest I can't understand, and I don't understand how people can get obsessed with some of the most bizzare fetishs... balloon anyone... and the truth is, those who practice fetish sometimes can cross into areas where what is marginally acceptable becomes criminal. There are after all certia...

Re: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has been announced! + teaser

The growing online fan consensus wishes to have werewolves this time around. The lack of them really disappointed a lot of fans (including myself). Mods are great, but I'd like a fully functioning werewolf built completely for EoS... I'd also like to be able to customise the actual werewolf itself. ...

So if they stay true to their lore, then we should at least SEE werewolves and or fight them. It would be cool though, if you could once again become a werewolf as you could in the Morrowind expansions. I hope they will start releases actual gameplay screens shortly. I'm excited!

As a huge Elder of Scrolls fan, as I've spent countless months playing nothing else when I started playing them, I'm really excited, and YES... I hope that they could incorporate werewolves back into the game. They were sadly absent from Oblivion, although there was a statue of one beside the hunter...

Re: What to do with those who claim to be Werewolves

The problem with werewolves starts from the fact that there are so many definitions as to what a werewolf is. On the basic level and mythological level, a werewolf is an individual of whom can assume the form of a wolf...can become a wolf. In ancient times, Native Americans were able to assume wolf ...

What always has to be understood about movie making and Hollywood in general is that it takes time to get a movie made. Re: The current generation of werewolf fans.

Actually the hybrid (Gestalt if you will) form of the werewolf has its roots in early 20th century films, such as Werewolf of London and The Wolf Man. The biped werewolf became a staple in media. Joe Donte's "The Howling" created the half/half beasty, of which, while murderous, weren't min...
