Re: Werewolves and Mental Health Problems
Absolutely. With the exception of only one or two diseases that are the direct result of physical deterioration (Alzheimer's, for example), I think werewolves would be just as prone to mental defectiveness as a normal human would be, if not more so. This raises an odd point: Would werewolves be res...

Re: the teeth...where do they come from, where do they go to
Could the teeth be growing out, like a rodent's? Then you don't have to wrestle with haveing them fall out. Instead, this way, they can return to normal through wear and tear. Though, I admit, the mechanism for returning them to proper size at the proper time would be twitchy at best. Maybe s...

Re: The Plague Approach
Reasons why the zombie virus spreads faster than lycanthropy: 1) Mortality. Werewolves are tough to kill, but they're still mortal. Zombies, on the other hand, are undead. Hitting one is easy, but killing one is a royal pain, and even then there isn't always a guarantee that it will stay dead. 2) T...

The Plague Approach
Okay, I recently read "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War" and it made me realize something: Zombies: bite to infect, are dumb as rocks, walk at a slow shamble, can't even get up a steep incline, and nearly overwhelm the human race. Werewolves (gestalts assumed) : bite to infec...

Re: dogs/detection
And back to the posted topic... I have a question: WOuld it better if a werewolf made friends with the dogs first, and then the owners, or the reverse?) Dogs first, I say. Easier access to them, plus people tend to follow their dog's lead on wether a person is good or bad. Own question: Assuming do...

dogs/detection
I used the search and this didn't come up, so I figured I'd bring it up.
Dogs have a reputation for bring able to detect if something is "wrong" about a person. Would that extend to lycanthropy?

Make that 4. I honestly belive the have to be stealthy, because without armor they're at a distinct disadvantage.takyoji wrote:I'd mainly prefer a stealth aspect, and yet it surprises me that only 3 out of 31 people chose stealth...

Re: C&C 3: Kane's Wrath
Why didn't anyone post on this small thread? Because the Command & Conquer universe is not as popular was before until EA took over Westwood Studios. Kane's Wrath is a little improvement over the original one, though. But I still want the expansion! I lost all of my faith in the Command and Con...

Re: Werewolf hunters.
I would run personally. First, if it is a seasoned hunter, chances are that they have learned not only how to elude getting fingered by the cops, but also how to fight a were, should you try to kill them. Plus, if they could be bought or convinced, I'd expect it to have happened a long time ago. And...

I go with just a few seconds of screen time, because I remember this one film I saw. Can't remember the name, but it had to do with this cursed slip of paper that would kill the holder at midnight. Long story short, at the end of the film, guy has the curse go into effect while he's on some train tr...

C&C 3: Kane's Wrath
Just bought it, and must say I'm impressed! The new factions are a blast, though ZOCOM, and The Marked of Kane kinda suck. Ah well, the Steel Talon's wolverenes are the best, and Traveler-59's Prodigy is easily the most fun I have ever had.

Hoarders You know the ones. The guys who know exactly where the armor/guns/best sniping spots are, and use them to control the armor/guns/best sniping spots. Worst is in Tremulous, when some expert gets to the tyrant stage. Nothing more frustrating than emptying your clip to no effect, and then get...

The thing is that the story will be set on different worlds, each one it's own little story arc. Thus, I can do virtually whatever I want with the part where the werewolf comes in. Hence the question, what context shoud he/she be in? And I'm not looking for backstory, just where it would seem right ...

New webcomic (WIP)
I've started looking into making a webcomic of my own, with one of the characters being a werewolf. (not the main character though) So, I just wanted to ask, what context do you think it would be fitting for the were to appear in. Like, should he/she be hiding in the suburbs, feral woods-dweller, pa...

Always outside. No room in the circle for me. Always a n00b cause no matter where I go it's freakin "urban terror syndrome". And, of course, I can never trancend my place because in order to do that, I need to say stuff, but everything's already been said, so the only thing I can do is say...

Psychology
Now, I'm sure psychology has been covered in little bites all over this forum, but I'm wondering about a cohesive whole. For example, the sentient were seems to be well established, but if they are sentient, why aren't they using tools? And what about drug addicts? Or even drug treatments? Could a v...
