That is very interesting, and probably very true. I will have to meditate over this.MrDragon811 wrote:TRUE FAITH has to have an element of dought. When you think you know you have no faith."

But isn't by that definition, all faith = blind faith?

Dreamer, I am another agnostic (and may I add, another dreamer). :) I've have the same inner conflict over faith and spirituality. On one hand; I want to believe. No, wait! It's more like...I want to rest assured in the knowledge that there is a reason behind it all. Even if there is no afterlife (a...

I thought Set was another type of canine animal, other than a jackal? Often you see his form referred to as "the Set animal", since it doesn't quite look like any known canine. Anubis on the other hand, is clearly of the Jackal.RedEye wrote:Wepawet was most likely a Jackal, like Set.

Re: So who plays Magic the Gathering?
I used to play at entry level, but I fell out of it when people started getting serious. I still have my deck somewhere. I used to play black/white/green most of the time.
I rather prefer a good PnP RPG session. The cardgame thing never really bit me I suppose.

Re: A new werewolf figure
I like to see different styles of werewolves (even though I prefer the traditional "Howling style"), so I think these are cool. What bothers me most, is the long tail on #2. It also strikes me that a lot of non-fandom artists try to emphasize the demonic sides in werewolves, whereas often ...

Re: The world goes werewolf crazy.
It would ruin it a bit for me, even though I'd probably benefit from it.
Being a werewolf fan is really apart, and I enjoy having something to indulge in that the mainstream public does not pursue.
But I think I'd get over it.
I don't see myself getting tired of werewolves anytime soon.

Falls' my favorite season, all in all. Same with me! :D Although I'm fairly creative all year around, there's something special about autumn for sure. I really don't care for Halloween, since it hasn't been part of our traditions until recently, so for me autumn has no relation to it. But I like th...

Re: Beowulf - a werewolf?
Note the comment about fighting without armour: whether or not a berserker was named for being metaphorically naked would depend on whether the Scandinavians had a word meaning "naked" which sounded similar to the English "bear". Well, the norse language was heavily influenced b...

As for "non-evil" werewolves in modern literature, I think that White Wolf's vision of werewolves is worthy of mention. Their RPG "Werewolf: The Apocalypse" was released some time in the late 80's or early 90's (I think). Their werewolves ("Garou"), is a race (or rather...

Re: Beowulf - a werewolf?
While it is against my principles to barge in as a newbie and contradict oldtimers, I have to pipe in here for a moment. Also; sorry for going somewhat off topic. I will try to keep it as short as possible: (By the way, the word "berserker" has nothing to do with "bear.") As far ...

Re: Gestalt-Form Breasts: Should Females Have Them or Not (Poll)
Is this poll a hypothetical question about werewolves in general? I can't think of a straight answer myself. Being a creator, my answer would be "it would depend on what sort of medium you would put the werewolves". For instance; if I was drawing a comic about a werewolf pack/family, I'd p...

Hey brothers and sisters! I'm delighted over having found this place! I was checking out Freeborn, and wound up here. It didn't take long to consider registering! I'm in my 30's, and have been a diehard Werewolf fan since childhood. I love Werewolf fiction, and I'm often putting some "werewolf ...
