Re: Twilight MMO in the works

I suppose I'll bite the bullet here and say that there is potential for this to be a good game. Now, not an action game without drifting from the books and keeping it in Forks like the article said, but with a shift of setting back to whenever that vampire war thing that Jasper fought in, or create ...

Re: Legislature banning animal-human hybrids

Seriously though, I could think of a few "super-soldier" modifications that would actually have utility on the battlefield. Being able to grow the reflective layer at the back of the retina (can't quite recall the medical term for that organ) and mucking around with the cone/rod structure...

Re: What if...

In the vast majority of stuff I write or work on, at least one supernatural character will be working in the movie/entertainment industry in one capacity or another. It's the perfect position for them to be in, if someone posts a picture or video, two days later the internet will be flooded with sim...

Re: Legislature banning animal-human hybrids

Hmmm... With the technology we have today, about the only creature we could hybridize with humans... Is a Chimpanzee. I'll leave it there. Let your imaginations provide the requesite grossness. I saw an article the other day about how a chimp tried to rape his female handler, so I guess the ...

Re: Portal

Well, Scott, that was a triumph. I'm making a note here: Huge success. Portal is good times, though after playing Portal I was disappointed in other games, as you're mostly limited to horizontal travel. After being able to fall up, standard videogame movement just feels lacking. Mirror's Edge helped...

Re: The Plague Approach

You know, I just thought of something. If the werewolves are intelligent enough to increase their numbers by purposely infecting others, they probably wouldn't use either of the methods I described. They would slowly, methodically, and quietly contaminate the food and water supply. I imagine a smal...

Re: Research Assistance

Hmm, well off the top of my head probably every single rapper out there, aside from Will Smith. Willy Nelson got busted for marijuana possession back in 2006, according to the wiki. Lil' Kim also served a year. Those are the only two that come to mind immediately, though I have no idea why those two.

The Machine That Goes 'Ping!'. "The Administrator's coming! Quick, turn everything on!" I'm not sure if anyone here has played PROTOTYPE, but there are viral detectors that can, somehow, detect infected individuals. Namely you, the main character. I ponder if such a thing could be rigged ...

Re: The Plague Approach

I suppose it depends on how contagious lycanthropy would be, the methods of transmission, and whether or not the lycanthrope(s) in question were aware of their contagious nature. If someone has to survive a werewolf attack/encounter in order to become one themselves, then an intelligent werewolf wou...

Re: A complete new idea for me.

While a slow transformation does increase the believability of the transformation as a whole, it reduces believability in the survival and continued secrecy of werewolves as a whole. Well, unless they're tuning into full wolves, rather than gestalts. Man-wolves could certainly survive, but they'd be...

Re: World of Warcraft... playable werewolves?!

Cool. Though, it's unlikely I'll get back into WoW, it cost me nearly 200 bucks in fees from my ISP to download all the patches last time around, and then all of my friends up and quit WoW or were 40+ levels ahead and unwilling to slow down. Also, it may interest some of you that there are existing ...
