Well, first of all you need an IRC client, such as Trillian, ChatZilla(which I use), mIRC, Pidgin, or something of that nature.
Or, you can use the web-based chat. Just pick a nickname and it automatically connects you to the pack chat.

Re: A-Kon 20
Are we going to have a Pack meet at A-kon? I hope we all can get together on Friday cause that's the only day I'll be there. I'm not sure what we could do during the meet. Any ideas? Well, we could party like we're animals. :) I'm not really sure, though, as I've never been to a convention before. ...

Re: Skin?
It would seem most practical that fur sort of lurks beneath a werewolf's everyday skin. I see no reason for it to change its color. Sure, its texture would probably change, and would separate perhaps to allow fur to grow through the epidermis and things like that (see my intelligent scientific term...

(Old news) Turkish family that is quadruped

The story's from March 2006, so it's not exactly new, but this was the first I've heard of it, and my searches don't bring up any topics about it.
All in all, pretty interesting. Just wanted to share with you folks.

Re: Pack RPG
Not so much certain forms as certain limits. Basically, every shifter has a "safe zone" and as long as they use less than that much power they're fine, but when they go over that limit then they start getting dangerous. Just so you get an idea, the average person has 2 Composure, and 2 Res...

Oh, and a second verification from The Washington Post. Though it does link to the same report as the first.

Re: Best job for a werewolf?
Eh, nothing says that being in a pack could be your job. The entire business, or organization could all be werewolves, or at least members of the pack.
I'm sure we've all seen people like that, who never do anything, but still have their job.

Cool, that's four people so far. As for the game itself, it's going to be a bit of both, roleplaying and rollplaying. http://the-highway.wikidot.com/ That's where I've put the vast majority of what I've got for this setting so far. Though, I'm still unsure as to what I can do for a merit/feat system...

"Welcome to Cupcake Sales 101, for the next 16 weeks I will instruct you on the proper way to sell a cupcake." People are stupid sometimes, and to be perfectly honest the education and employment system is in dire need of overhaul. Like how it's essentially measuring how long you spent dri...

Anyone else ever heard of these guys? They do fantastic work in my opinion. This is the series of videos they did as a prequel for 30 Days of Night. Blood Trails pt 1 . Re: On the Man Eater Issue
On the topic of people-eating, I submit this video. Mein Teil , by Rammstein. It's Rammstein, so consider yourself warned. I rather liked the part where Richard was fighting himself, and when Til ate the angel. Eating someone else could also be seen as a punishment, since a know a few cultures think...

Re: Best job for a werewolf?
Yeah, military or law enforcement jobs are brought up 70% of the time when talking about supernatural. Cause really, superpowered gardener is a little less exciting. Fallenwolf, you're a sniper? Personally, I'd think a werewolf would favor a bit more of a close range approach, though a high powered ...

Re: Tax time
I know I did the paperwork two years ago, which sort irritated the people when I wandered into their office and somehow convinced them to help me out even though I didn't have an appointment. That reminds me, I think I've still got an expired check for like $40 sitting around from when I got my glas...
