Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?
Now, my knowledge about the actual storyline or plot of Freeborn is extremely limited to my discussions with my occipital lobe, but I think that any storyline with any amount of plot richness and depth can work as a videogame. The key here is that plot in videogames is so often relegated to the back...

Re: The Howling: Remake
Well, one thing that springs to mind for why there would be two types of werewolf is as 'born' werewolves and 'bitten' werewolves, or some young/mature, normal/alpha division. That, and maybe they wanted to try something new.

Re: The Howling: Remake
I`ve heard, from other movies, that large necks and shoulders are sometimes necessary to provide space for the bells and whistles that control facial movements. Or it could just be an attempt at imposing. Possibly, somewhere along the lines someone compared human necks and canine necks and decided t...

Re: Actual plausible alternate forms
Ugh, and now I want to rewrite it all, since it would be so much better without trying to shoehorn it into nWoD mechanics. Nevertheless, I do still like some of it. Now if only I could remember which of the six different versions I saved the short stories in.

Man, you're behind the wave of the future. I've been listening to Cruxshadows for years and I'm not even in the goth scene. However I really only have heard a few of their songs: Deception, Monument, Last Breath, Binary, Tears, and Winterborn with any degree of regularity. All of which are worth a l...

Re: Actual plausible alternate forms
I have thought about "realistic" werewolves for a while, and the idea I agree with the most is a slow and gradual transformation that only rarely coincides with full moons. I also tried to rationalize my other favorite creatures vampires and zombies, to a certain degree, at the same time. ...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?
A heck of a lot of teenage boy fans. Though I don't know how much that accounts for. Maybe Freeborn should be made into a video game instead. I approve of the idea, and it would solve some issues, but it would also cause some issues. A single misplaced [ can completely screw a videogame, whereas a ...

Demon's Souls
So, in the last two weeks or so I've probably invested about a hundred hours or so into this game. Overboard, I know, but I needed something to distract me. I figure that it's time to post my thoughts on this particular game. It is something of a conundrum, it is quite possibly at once the hardest a...

Re: Why a majority of technology-inclined shows/movies annoy
It's not limited to technology. In the show Kyle XY, he gains the ability to 'rewind' his memory and relive a moment to try to notice things he missed the first time. So, in the memory of him talking to a guy, he walks to where he never stood, to read the book the guy has. Yeah, in a memory, he pret...

Welcome to the Pack.
Those pups disturb me on a fundamental level, they exude a sense of wrongness, and I feel a strong desire to kill them with fire. Pretty good job, as people have been trying to kill werewolves with fire for a long while now. ;)

Re: I should not read or watch the news
I have bought stuff I had previously obtained. In fact, I had bought that stuff because I had previously obtained it. I was able to try it, found that I enjoyed it, and wanted to reward the creators. If I hadn't downloaded it, then they wouldn't have gotten a sale from me. The gained a sale because...

Re: Police try to kill a man for absolutely nothing
Add to this the fact that it is now illegal in 12 states to film a police officer without their consent and I'm seriously considering moving to Canada. This bothers me more than anything else. Who watches the watchmen? No one, apparently. Most likely someone within the department/system whose best ...

Re: Could a werewolf family be sophisticated?
Stark actually works rather well as a werewolf parallel, as he has to sneak off to do his stuff, whereas everyone else can do theirs with only a minor bit of obfuscation. Alter some descriptions, and it could easily be him saying "I am Wolf Man." in front of a room full of reporters. Ther...

Re: Werewolf Lifespan?
It seems to me that in order to get a hefty plant-based diet going on, it requires a substantial amount of green and/or leafy things to equal, say, a steak. Better for you in the long run, but not very sustainable if you are eating like a starving man every month. I've been trying to eat plant-foods...

I'm going to have to be honest here, I really have no idea who this is, perhaps a little before my time. Let me google him.
Hmm, quite the career, he made some good music.

Re: For those who play World of Warcraft
I'm really not feeling enthused in the least about this, or any potential WoW expansion or update. I used to play, because my friends did, but then they stopped and there's no real reason for me to play any more. The game fails to stimulate me on pretty much every level, and the last time I tried to...

Re: Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening
Well, that depends entirely on what you're looking for. I'm not one to shatter your dreams but the official Pack policy is that werewolves are not real, or if they are real they have chosen secrecy, and that is to be respected. Ergo, if you're looking for 'real' werewolves, the closest you're probab...
