Re: Don't see New Moon. I beg you...
You may be wondering what this has to do with my original interjection by now and I will tell you. To me, the whole "oh they need rehab/oh they have to start with something with some substance" comes off as awfully pompus. Yes Twilight is awful on many levels but so was Titanic and variou...

Re: Don't see New Moon. I beg you...
Avatar is a very pretty movie, with a couple awesome concepts here and there, but it's pretty plot-light. Well, plot-light on anything that hasn't been done a thousand times in the exact same way . It's still a major step up from Twilight: New Moon . Twi-tards don't need boot camp, they need rehab....

Take all the Twilight fans to see Avatar . Put them through Cool Movie Boot Camp! "I am here to make sure you make it through a movie that rocks alive; I will not succeed..." Avatar is a very pretty movie, with a couple awesome concepts here and there, but it's pretty plot-light. Well, pl...

Re: What to do with those who claim to be Werewolves
...A werewolf apocalypse would be a lot better than a zombie apocalypse. You know, if you got turned, you would be awesome. (I'm not too fond of the idea of shambling around either as a slave (traditional myth) or looking for human flesh to eat (Hollywood).) A werewolf apocalypse is also marginally...

Seems like it's simply a case of the managers being assholes. The police seem to think the whole issue is as much a waste of their time as it is of hers.

2001? God, it's ancient.
Also, lol'd so hard at the mention of Neuromancer as a hacking manual. I was not aware we lived in a cyberpunk future where one can jack right into the net with a cybermodem.

Haha, very awesome. It's something I've thought of myself - they kinda failed in protecting "Traditional marriage" when "till death do us part" stopped meaning something. Apparently there are several points in the bible where it's stated gay people are wrong, and so is divorce. W...

Re: Swiss voters back ban on minarets
Terry's original point is still rather correct - banning Minarets isn't going to solve anything. It's going to piss off moderates and energize the radicals. Pushing away the moderates is a poor idea because then you're left with the assholes, or you have more assholes, because you've gone and pushed...

They are awesome. Like the Glasswalkers of Werewolf: The Apocalypse. It's a very fun departure from your typical Gaia-loving tree-humper.Silent Hunter wrote: In fact, what do you guys of the idea of more sci fi werewolves?

I don't see how a moral vampire has to hate that part of their existence. Nothing says you have to get your sustenance unwillingly - or get it from the innocent. For example, The Astounding Wolf-Man has a bit with a vampire superhero who got his blood whilst fighting crime. Uh... yeah, and then mur...

Re: The Secret World
Katana is for the Dragons Machine Gun is for the Illumanati Pistol for the Templar. Really? I'd have thought those last two switched. Templars being all militaristic and all it seems the SMG would be the choice over a mere pistol - especially since the one pictured was all tactical'd up with the fl...

So then vampires graze as long as they don't kill their prey? I could pretty much replace 'mosquito' with 'vampire' in the following paragraph and it would read the same: An example of a grazer that may seem counterintuitive is a mosquito, which is not a parasite in that it does not form any lastin...

Re: The Secret World
Game looks neat, been watching for a while. I love modern horror/supernatural stuff, so I'm certainly giving it a poke at some point. As to which society, I got Dragons, which seems about right. Dragons/Templar are ones I could see myself joining but not Illuminati. Also I lol'd at the weapon questi...

Waiting for the WoD MMO. I'm only getting that if they: - Have playable Werewolves - Have playable Hunters I ain't interested in vampires, and I figure they'd butcher both Changeling and Mage in translation from P&P to Video Game. Werewolve are awesome and Hunters, well, Hunters let me be...

@Aki You get all the effects of weapons and armour, but it's invisible. Sweet! Does it play the animations (like, swinging an invisible sword)? Or do you get claw animations? :D Also yeah, I always fond the trope of ALWAYS VIOLENT WILDLIFE to be annoying in RPGs. Oblivion was really bad about it.Wo...

Personally, I think that a transgender awareness day would be more useful than a remembrance day. I could agree with this idea. Awareness is more effective than remembrance. Ignorance is, after all, why these things happen. They are still People . Aren't they? :? Yeah, they are just people. Why sho...

Hmmm. Not to rain on anyone's Boycott parade; but... 1. The Werewolves are NOT shown as insane monsters. They are people who can turn into wolves. 2. If there are more "Fluffy" werewolf movies, the likelihood of Freeborn being made will increase since there is now a market for it. 3. When...

. I think a more balanced vampire would try to find a substitute for human blood ASAP (like the vampires in Nightwatch that lived off of pig blood), but just the fact that they are drinking any kind of blood should still have left them feeling pretty bitter. Edward should have been an antisocial cy...

HAY GUYZ I DON'T LIKE TWILIGHT ANYMORE BECAUSE SOMEBODY TOLD ME NOT TO. (I'm tired of the Twi-hatred. You think Twilight's juvenile? You guys are just as bad.)
