Re: The prophecy (open species)

(OOC: If you're going to post an OOC, at least try to do something!!! :howl: :oo ) I'd finally managed to catch up to the therian. I knew the group was in separate, smaller groups, but this one was the one I stumbled by first. "Phew! I really ought to stop oversleeping! Oh, and, uh....What happ...

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

Finally! A peaceful settlement to a problem. That was fortunate. Now, since they were willing to help us get inside and deal with the HR leader, all that was needed was Dusten to be ready to make his move at that point.

"You won't regret your decision. It will probably save many lives."

Re: In the name of....

There weren't many situations where I'd "sit back and watch," but this was one of them. It isn't normally a good idea to get involved in between a fight with elves, and fortunately, with my haste, I had managed to evade conflict with them. However, I did return once the hostilities had qui...

Re: The Final War: gaming thread

I was still close behind, and could hear every word they were saying. It seemed like I'd need to get a card to go further. Hopefully I'd have time to get one when they moved on.

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

I sighed in relief. I was glad Fang hadn't taken his life. Another death in such a short time would be unfortunate, to say the least. However, that voice on the wind...The dead just didn't rest as they used to - Enir coming back to life, Alythe's message over the winds...

Re: The Final War: gaming thread

Well, the illusion had worked better than I'd thought, but the werewolf had spotted me. As I could detect him, though being human, through using my magic, he could detect me. However, the human probably hadn't noticed, so the question was whether I should follow from a distance, or introduce myself....

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

"Fang, I know from experience, when the person closest to you dies, the worst thing you can do is take your own life. By killing yourself, you will end your sister's memory as well. Die now, and your sister's child will be left alone without a true family, and the memories of your sister will b...

Re: The prophecy (open species)

I woke up in a flurry of movement. Looking around, I saw the lack of motion, and cursed, as it was obvious the others had moved without me. Standing up, I gathered my bearings, and worked out where they'd gone, and followed.

"I am glad to make your acquaintance. I hope you don't mind if I stay around for a while, I'm sure that hunter will come back, and even though she's innocent, I'm sure his target will be Furya, with a vengeance.

Re: The Final War: gaming thread

(OOC: like magic, werewolves have a specific "pattern" which can be used to detect them, so yeah, it was magic) This situation seemed to be getting out of hand. Armed men were now nearby, no doubt from Ribo-corp. I'd rather they didn't hang around this area. Even if they weren't looking fo...

Re: The Final War: gaming thread

I walked over the barren wasteland of a land once know as "America." Now, all that remained was the stench of death. There was hardly any life above ground, in this area at least, but I knew of one nearby area that would have life. It was underground, so entry wasn't easy - for most people...

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

The soldiers would blow my cover! I didn't have time for this. "The black sonnet, Dark Lightning" A searing bolt of dark energy struck all of the soldiers at once, and they each collapsed, unable to even cry out in the last moment of their existence. "I turned to the one who addressed...

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

"I took Evara from Alythes hands, and as I opened my mouth to ask if she could heal herself, I felt the presence of her soul wane, and exit the body. A tear fell down my cheek, and I briefly wiped it away. It was a great misfortune for death to occur once more in the group, especially one with ...

Re: The prophecy (open species)

Ah. Silver. I forgot how not all are as fortunate as me - my impure wolfen blood sometimes gives me the advantage, and other times hinders me. Watching a young pup take on someone like that, and whip the knife out of their hand, it made me think. Still, the hunter had left, but it sounded more like ...

I stepped back slightly, looking at the newest of the newcomers. "Yes, that'll probably help a lot." Taking a number more steps backwards, I looked back to the human. "And as for a good reason to work with us, hmm...Well, for one, we'll all leave here in one piece, or, if you chose to...

A brief telepathic message, and likewise, a simple reply
"I will not be found. My presence is cloaked from all possibilities, and only those who have directly interacted with me, like you, will be able to notice me."

"and in the odd chance she would miss, I wouldn't," I muttered so lowly under my breath no one could hear it.
"Think things through. If we were irrational monsters that kill, why did we alert ourselves to you, rather than kill on sight?"

Re: The prophecy (open species)

(this is going to be awkward since Dusten's introduced himself, but no one else has been introduced to him xD) I looked at the one who had neared the mound, and seemed pretty shocked to find him armed. "He's been given a bounty on us. That's about all I know." Turning back to the human, &q...

Re: The prophecy (open species)

Money? Of course. It was always hate, fear or money that made people hunt down supernatural creatures. "Now why would it be easier for both of us, if we're taken in, then you get your money, but we end up worse off."

Re: Apocalyptic earth: gaming thread

With Enir rushing back in, I decided to back him up. My apprentice could easily deal with the wounds. Finding an ajar door, I entered, to encounter... Nothing. Not a soul in sight, no opposition, no life. Homing in to Enir's energy, I was able to locate him. I was about to enter, when I heard snippe...

Re: In the name of....

Mounting up on Ledrif's dragon, I looked at the array of transport methods around.
"Well, my most flashy method of transportation requires a storm, and whilst my other methods can move equally as fast...I've always wanted to ride a dragon. So, anyways, we'd better get moving."
