I agree, some of the W:tA Gifts were just straight-up corny or thrown in for shock value...like the BSD Gifts. I'd favour powers, though — but only up to a point. Say, emotional reactions (the moon connection), elemental control, influence over natural things, the heightened senses of course. Legend...

I voted 8 feet but that's because I think 7.5' would be a good workable tallness factor. More importantly...what are the proportions? Where's the height? Is it leggy? Long body, shortish legs with the thighs being shorter than the cannon/metatarsal? Short thighs contributes to speediness. If you had...

Someone did a study and found that wolf and human vocal tracts — the windpipe, voicebox, et alia — are virtually identical. I'd have the werewolf talking, but doing it like Moro in Princess Mononoke did: mostly in the throat, with the jaws and tongue moving only slightly and intermittently. Nothing ...

I always visualized (is that the right word?) a rumbling prefacing/underpinning the entire transformation...lets you know something extraordinary is about to/taking place, almost like the TF has an element of Wholly Other. It starts quietly and builds to a crescendo as the change progresses. Skin/mu...
