The show is called Destination Truth. http://www.scifi.com/destinationtruth/ There is a video on the right lower corner of that page. Click on the picture of what appears to be a werewolf. I knew it was something....truth. Never paid much attention to it really, what with its lax method of monster ...

other were-creatures are the first idea when it comes to rivals, especially if they follow people around when spreading over the world. When we think of wolves we usually think of Timber Wolves, however most werewolves being a european strain would more likely resemble and behave like European wolve...

Searching for the truth werewolves

Next wendseday this show that comes on the sci-fi channel before Ghost Hunters will have a werewolf episode in either central or south america. Now I generally don't really like this show as the guy goes all over the world making fun of the locals and spending like one night on a stake out looking f...

Rival Creatures

Now we have all seen the vampire thing, however this is more like Freddy vs Jason or Alien vs Predator type stuff, pitting two popular monsters against each other. But looking at it from an ecological stand point (assuming that if werewolves exist that other monsters might as well), rival species, a...

now fogging a memory on the other hand, such as they can't remember the exact location of a den, how far it was, specific names, and pathways/directions. I am less against (seeing as I have had magical characters use this before) Its not an erased memory but makes the mind unable to focus on the det...

Has anyone yet mentioned the part where in werewolf media, any character with a religious background, i.e. priests and clerics, are either stubbornly zealous or psychotically/antagonistically racist? that goes with all monster movies, sci-fi, horror, action, and just about any movie, book, comic, an...

Well we have had the size (GROWTH) limitations mentioned numerous places before like how tall, how fat, how muscular. What I was asking was the reverse, how short, how thin, how petite or puny could it be when in werewolf form? As in how comfortable are you people with a midget werewolf, or a female...

You need collarbones for ripping things apart, as well as climbing climbable surfaces. They provide support and securement. exactly why its needed for bipeds, and extra support for the werewolf for a curved collar bone in quadraped. The idea of the hendged one was that in biped mode the collar bone...

Yes, the whole digigrade thing is an issue that has to be looked at. One of the solutions given is to have the quadraped be a different form from the digigrade. If it's a shift, then it's certainly easier to deal with. I prefer that because each form can be correct, with no elongating or shortening...

Yeah the muscle head werewolves I've seen come across looking like gorillas with wolf heads with how long they make the arms and the amount of muscle they put on them.

and what I wrote makes no sense really. It implies behavior impossible given their mind sets, or else it took them decades to randomly stumble across the plan. But in reality my earlier statements make more sense. an advanced alien race capable of going across the galaxy between systems would have n...

Height and size limitations

I am certain threads like this have happened before. But a new perspective.

How tall/short and how muscular/slim would you limit a werewolf.

Not just has to be smaller than or not so muscular. But also the other way. How short is too short? how skinny is too skinny? for a werewolf as well?

a rabbit given human size and shape could likely knock a door across a room with one kick and leap over top of a house, if we allow a proportional thing to occur like with spider-man. then again even if its not the same just using a mixed shape and design would allow for some impressive power. Alice...

I think the one fur color thing has already been said somewhere as a cliche. The fur almost never looks like wolf fur or that of any canine.

Another cliche is the overly long front arms and short back legs, this muscle head version tends to pop up alot especially in animated forms.

A baby of almost any mammal is can be seen as cute.
But then again what definition of cute do we want.
Awww. its so adorible, type of cute.

or what a cute babe, type of cute.

The former is easier to acomplish with werewolves than the latter.

I hate memory erasing, its a terrible cliche and is basically no better than a Deus Ex Machina (something improbable done at the last moment with no pretense that it could happen that saves the day). Its just a lazy way out of a situation really. what do we do with the witness, "MIB memory eras...

Funny thing is, its a common misconception that carnivores are more agressive than herbivores. In reality herbivores are much more agressive (after all they are the one's afraid of being eaten) and lash out much more than predators. When was the last time you heard of a coyote jumping through someon...

If there is one new cliche that is gaining ground that I don't like its the claws/horns/teeth/ and spikes of werekin having special abilities to harm their own kind. I understand the lesser version: "our fangs and teeth can harm us normally as they should even if other weapons can't" Such ...

Inter-genus werekin? that would be boring, it would limit humans to great apes. Class & Order changes are the most reasonable but really only limits people to all other mammals. Humans being omnivores a change in either direction (carnivore or herbivore) would be just as extreme. We just like th...

Heh, rogue goblins. I must be out of touch because I never knew goblins had such a rich, vibrant lexicon of terms to describe their lives. Goblins actually have a very complex description set, mainly due to writers and such trying to keep them as a seperate group from trolls and orcs. They come acr...

For instance, the monster can suferfast chase everyone down but the hero. As time has gone on, the other folks have been wounding the monster. When it's chased and killed the other 87 people in the movie, at least one in ten gets a hit in, or a bullet off. Now, it is damaged, and the hero gets dama...

In my own writings I have an alien invasion, its reasoning is really weird. The alien species has a built in instinctive mind set where they develop slowly, as in they have a hard time predicting outcomes and lack imagination (if they havn't seen it or encountered it they can't imagine it) An idea s...
