Re: IMPROVEMENTS!

Tak: If it encourages you or makes you feel any better, you can start a topic/poll ASAP with a "yea" or "nay" option regarding the redirect. There hasn't been any objections considering how long ago the concept was brought up. I'll do it tomorrow (when I'm not using my brother's...

Re: Depression thread

If where you are is making a down of your life, then Go somewhere different! Get out of your house, cabin, apartment, etc. and go do something that you wouldn't normally do. Experience something new. Experience something that is fun, enjoyable or exciting. Can you guess the ironic aspect about that...

Not to be pushy or anything: But when is the site-redirection happening? Hasn't the consensus been that the front page should be redirected to the forums? :) Also: You shouldn't pull all-nighters so close to school! D : Yea, stupid me, I just haven't done it yet since nobody really said "DO IT...

Re: Work in progress

Just as a minor notice, "OpenID" support was added to the list. This will help ensure that your login information will be secure and also that you won't even need to use a username or password to login. This will be available as an ADDITIONAL feature, as it will not be mandatory. Note: Ope...

Two custom profile feilds were added quickly: Additional Notes - Just additional details for your profile. Mood - Self explanatory. I just figured it was worth adding. The options I came up with are: Excited Happy Relieved Bored Meh... Disappointed Sad Shameful Depressed Angered Ruthless There's als...

Re: And can I get that without ice?

I just think it quickly ruins the taste by watering it down. If it's :P hot outside and you just don't care, I can see that. But if you are at a restaurant and you buy a drink that is already cold, is there really a point to putting ice in it? I completely agree. I find it a bit senseless when it's...

Re: Depression thread

Sorry if I'm just budging in, but yea, I feel lifeless once again. Every day I just wake up without any form of motivation or interest in the day. I just sit down and work for most of the day. But throughout this whole summer I've become depressive probably every 2 weeks at most for a few days or lo...

Re: "Old Friends Who've Just Met"

Yea, I've noticed you here and there and wondered what your full background was. I've only been here for a mere 9 months so far but I've slowly discovered all the history to this forum and so on and noticed that you were around quite early. Or that the domain used to be calypso-blue.com (along with ...

Prison starts on September 2nd. But hey, at least I get to tutor a web design class and do an individual study (or something) this year since they don't have anything else for me. xP

Re: Work in progress

Actually, one thing you may not even realise you've fixed is one of those little annoying things that I never bothered grouching about but really appreciate being able to fix: the date and time system. Giving us the chance to make custom settings means I have finally been able to change the date fr...

Thankies. The full-size drawing is by one of my fav online artists. She draws reaaalllly cool lycanthropes. (Can I mention websites on here? :? I'm not sure if I'm allowed.) Actually, a lot of us know whom the artist is. It's "The Oath" by Goldenwolf. She was actually a member of th...

Re: General Announcments and Updates

Nothing burned down that I noticed, but we have had a couple of spammer attacks... Yes, I've noticed that and fixed it. Apparently an admin/moderator (I'm not going to point a finger though) just approved those posts without checking them first otherwise those wouldn't have been publicly visible an...

Apparently I'll be taking a disappearance starting tomorrow until Friday. Vacation, I guess. I wish it was a little later so that I could actually get some visible progress done on this website. But I shall of course start working at it again when I return (I'll probably even be planning it out on t...

Re: Werewolf Code?

From how I understand how it all works, it wouldn't be all that difficult at all. Also, we'd have a simple little Javascript or PHP page that could create the code (by answering a little questionare), and another that would decrypt the code into page that would explain everything regarding that code...

Re: Anubis live... or some thing or other

I think .ogg and .mp4 is usually best. The recent portable audio players usually support either one. Plus, they're usually like 1/8th the size of your typical mp3 (hence, mp4, a newer standard) without any big loss of quality or anything. Then again, there might always be something better since I ha...

Re: OMFG! It's a monster!

Personally, I chose to start out with a dual-core as a simple mid-range instead of using a quad-core since not all my the programs I'm using support symmetric multiprocessing. And as for rendering, I could still just do a network render instead of using just one computer for raytracing or anything l...

Re: IMPROVEMENTS!

When a website redesign is ready, I don't think all of those features should also be ready all at once. That would slow down deployment. Start off with the easiest and most critical sections (Site News, About Us, Links) and then add features one at a time. A lot of that would barely take any time a...

Re: It's almost here...

What we need right now is for the main page to do a simple redirect to these forums while the actual site is being worked on. Considering that takes oh, maybe FIVE MINUTES to code it amazes me we don't have one. The website is long overdue for an overhaul. I don't know who has access to the server ...

Re: what got you interested in wolves?

It's just a bit different with me. Apparently it just clicked in my mind or something when I was probably in middle school. None of my friends really cared at all and the idea of reading about wolves didn't really come across my mind for some reason, or I could have been too shy to.. which was why I...

Could just be a partially decomposed animal.
