The emotions would have to have a certain stage (I can't think how to word that exactly, other than a "certain stage", I hope all of you undestand what I am trying to say) to where the werewolf would change into a wolf; for example, a werewolf spills a drink onto the ground and gets angry ...

I believe that is correct - at least that is how I understood it. Ana: "Werewolves only shed before their first full moon. Before the curse has completely consumed them." That quote and other parts of the movie suggested to me that they stay in wolf form forever after their first full moo...

That is a way Dreamer, but I would much rather just have them be saved by people just getting used to the fact that they shouldn't kill them anyway. Honestly, it's just really stupid, and I don't see why humans do have to kill other animals for sport.

Next time I go to Starbucks, I'll make sure that I don't spill my drink on anyone and myself. I don't want someone turning into a werewolf and then attacking me.

Thanks Terastas. :D I do have to agree with Silent Hunter. The werewolf shouldn't change that frequently, because most people have that kind of stress on them everyday, and if that were to happen to werewolves, then everyone would know that werewolves were real, since you might see one in in the cub...

Ah, yes, I see both of your points; RedEye and Terastas. But also, a question that just sprung to my mind; if the werewolf were in wolf form, and died and changed back to human (using the example of the adrenline dropping to zero, Terastas), in this case, would human form, always be the dominant for...

Well, that is true. But I mean, the werewolf wouldn't be getting a concusion or anything... well unless they did get a concusion in his/her wolf form.
Is that what you were saying Night Hunter?

How would death exactly, cause the werewolf in his/her wolf form to shift back to human form, RedEye? I mean, obviously the body would not be able to shift back since the heart would stop pumping blood, and the brain wouldn't be working as well.

Wolf to Human

I've noticed that mostly people talk about what would trigger the werewolf to change into a wolf, but how come there really is nothing about what situation would trigger the werewolf in wolf form into human form? Other organisms besides humans do have emotions; such as fear, anger, etc.

I would think that anger could led to the change. Another possible emotion that would cause the transformation would be Fear.

I have to agree with RedEye there. It would seem that the werewolf would have to have memories of what he/she did in their wolf form. I mean, the brain isn't being altered in a serious way so that the werewolf would have no memories of beind a wolf.

Wouldn't the amount of blood also count? I can't recall what the amount is when people give blood donations at the moment. Well, if the werewolf gave to much blood, for one the werewolf would be dead, and two, I don't think the person could take all that blood. Unless they had a severe loss of blood...

It would probably be how the person would perceive his or herself becoming a werewolf.
I'm sure, during the European Medieval Ages and Reniassance, somone would think of it as a curse (people might now, but back then, it was only because of the witch hunts and most people were highly religious).

Blood Transfusions

What would happen if a werewolf were to give blood to a person (the human and the werewolf would have the same blood type of course)? Would the person become a werewolf? Or would the body, even though the blood is the same type, reject the blood, because there would be something different about the ...

I vistied the website and the part that says: "Being bloodily murdered on a full moon" part doesn't really make sense to me. First off, if you're dead, you can't really become a werewolf. And second, I am sure that loads of people have been killed under a full moon and never turned into a ...

Alos, it would probably depend on what the director thought that the werewolf were to look like, if the director was basing the werewolf's look off of old movies, or just inventing their own werewolf.

But I do have to agree with RedEye, Terastas, and Kzinistzerg.

Well, if all werewolves had an allergic reaction to silver for some reason, then I would say yes to this. But if they don't, I don't really see how it would matter if they were to touch silver. Still, if a werewolf was to get hit by a silver bullet (in this scenario, the werewolf has no reaction to ...

Well, if the werewolf is proud of what he/she is, and he/she wasn't a "man-eater", then I would say that the werewolf would really have no reason to restrain his or her self. If the person weren't to trust themselves, and would think that if they were to change into their wolf form and eat...

First of, mass and weight are to different things.

And second, I don't really see how it would be possible for a werewolf to switch to his or her wolf's form and be much larger. The wolf form of the werewolf would have to be around the general size of the werewolf in human form.

So Night Hunter, you are really saying that we can't have a definite answer to how a werewolf really ages and what the mind and body are like for a werewolf until some actually experiments or asks a werewolf how old one could live til?

Well, how would the mind age then?
We have gotten down a few theorys about their physical appearance and what not, but what would happen to the internal organs over time? I mean, sooner or later a heart will stop pumping blood throughout the body.

Wow, 390 years... that's a long time.
And so with this in mind, would their maturation be even slower than a humans? Or would it just have it's own speed that is separate from a wolf's and human's maturation speed?

Aging?

Okay, this is a question that has been bothering me for a while. In a few werewolf books that I have read, the authors seem to state that werewolves age differently than humans. Which is that they age slower; for example if they are forty, they might look like they are in their thirties or something...
