Re: Just what does that big old Moon do, anyhow?
It seems to me that in Wolf culture in general The Moon is by far the most powerful object in the sky. Since the moon has such an effect on the earth in terms of tides, and earth changes, it would make sense that at one point it was and maybe still is a point of worship. Wolves tend to hunt at night...

Yeah, cause you don't get a cold the very instant you get sneezed on. The were wolf gene's need time to work through the blood stream.

Re: Living With The Wolfman (New TV series)!
The show is intresting, but the human interaction evident in the introduction of Helen is odvious. There was no real caution to her introduction. In some ways they act tame.

Re: Werewolves... smart...or dumb
They have managed to hide thier true numbers from man for the last million years. They have found wolves living in places that they should not have been able to go unnoticed in. They don't leave much of thier meals behind to be found either.
Clever those Wolves.

Re: Werewolves and collars. should it happen?
This is an intresting topic of debate. But for me the answear is simple. If you wanna wear a collar, then go ahead. If not, then nobody can make you.

Re: Silver??
If silver was such a threat to were wolves, then wouldn't there be cases of people reacting to silver objects? Or maybe I'm just thinking of kryptonite. I would figure that if anything, silver would represent The Moon to wolves. So they would have silver as part of thier worship of the moon. The two...

Re: Question...(kill original werewolf = uncursed?)
A were-wolf thats lived that long, and turned so many people is not going to just open his arms and let you get in a good clean shot. Who knows, it might have even been cooked up by a were-wolf as a means to root out anyone comming after them.

Re: Destination truth what you think
I have to agree with that. His voice is annoying, and he makes jokes that no one thinks are funny. Ontop of that they really never answear any questions on the show, and the whole episode is a major waste of time. And he always ends with " Though we ourselves didn't see the monster of the week,...

Re: werewolves and halloween....
Well, alot of concepts didn't become widespread until the end of the 19th century. The Were-wolf is older then that. But it wasn't until the early film years it became a household name, like Santa Claus (the image of the jolly man an his ride).

Re: Werewolves... smart...or dumb
I think honestly in the Human to Full Were-Wolf (not full form wolf) the mind stays in the same state. Though in the berzerker phase, the base instincts are more in control then reason. Were-wolves would have to be smart, or smarter in order to stay mostly hidden from human detection.

Thanks again for the welcome. So, I should share a little of myself. I currently assistant manage my brothers store. We sell dog supplies (nothing any self respecting lycanthrope would dress in odviously). It's good decent work. I have ALOT of wolf related stuff. My wallet even has a wolf pin on it....

I don't see a problem, aslong as they stay true to lycanthropes. You know, avoid the classic Snarley beaste like the wolf man.

Re: Werewolves and collars. should it happen?
In my mind, I belive it's up to the prefence of the wearer. I myself would rather go with traditional were-wolf neck wear or a necklace with stones, and/or feathers. Some of the younger generations might be more pride driven, and wear collars in much the same way post civil war former slaves continu...

I'm really glad you let me in. There's honestly so few newcommer friendly wolf/werewolf related sites to join anymore. Or they take themselves way too seriously. And that kills all the fun.
