This was the first animated movie I have ever seen where a predominantly adult audience applauded at the end. I think it deserved the applause.

But they can still kick and bite each other!

I think it is a dog. I can't quite pinpoint a single feature that makes me think this, but there is something off around the muzzle (too wide) and the ears (too far up? I am not sure).

Now that THAT is out of my system, I have been volunteering with wolves and watching wolf documentaries for a few months now, and you can count on them to do something extremely goofy and cute at least once every time you see them. We can extrapolate to werewolves, I am sure

Not necessarily... We haven't seen that many 'evil' werewolves yet, most of what we have seen was 'mindless' werewolves... there obviously were exceptions... I think what Vuldari is getting at is that we are losing the 'dark' side of being a werewolf, or externalizing it. Now, there is nothing inher...
