I followed him, running as fast as I could.

I flashed him a smile, nodding my head.

I nodded my head in agreement, scanning the area around us.

"I agree, we'd best get out of the open, and fast."

I cast another glance around me. Enir was somewhere nearby, I could feel it. I rose toy feet, and shouted his name at the top of my lungs.

I examined the map, quirking an eyebrow. I then looked towards the mage, feeling my eyebrow raise even more at the book he had in his hand.

"Okay, how is this going to help us?"

Okay, note to self. Do NOT get hit by a meteor shower. I grunted as the mage pulled me up, stumbling to my feet. I whistled shrilly for my horse, thankful when she came trotting out of the distance.

Hell had arrived on earth. That was my first thought. Swearing hotly under my breath, I gathered the wolf mage under the arms, pulling him backwards towards safety. I set him down carefully, moving to stand in front of him. I drew my sword, ready for battle.

I smiled at him, tucking my hair behind my ears.

"Sure, what is it?"

I smiled at him, nodding my consent.

I sheathed my sword, running upwards the poisoned one. I looked towards the elemental, raising my eyebrow. A rare plant?

We both jumped as someone banged on our door. We shared one of those smiles before giving each other a brief hug.

"Let's go."

I swung my sword with a deep growl, penetrating the chest of one of the enemies. I ducked, swinging my sword as I went. I smiled lightly as the harsh yelps of pain as limbs detached from bodies. I decapitated a man with a vicious war cry, muttering my prayers as I went.

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Oh yeah, that was going to be easy. With two injured, one holding said injured, and me pregnant, this was so going to be a piece of cake. NOT! I rolled my eyes towards Surge, ducking as more shrapnel flew overhead.

"Great, got any brilliant ideas?"

I jumped as I heard Ledrif scream.

"What the hell?"

I slowly untangled myself from Enir, rising on my feet. I took Enir's arm with a grateful smile.

"Let's go see what trouble the others have gotten into."

I gave a small chuckle at the others antics. I smirked lightly, tucking a strand of hair behind my ears. This was going to be interesting.

Well, this was the cafe. I went inside, grateful to see the others. I took my seat.

I closed my eyes, sighing briefly. Trouble always seems to find the best of people. I stood, dusting off my clothing. Something told me this wasn't going to leave without a fight. I touched my medallion one last time, praying for luck.
