I want to taste freedom, repite and clarity, all at once. Either that or tell a specific person how I really feel without it single-handedly destroying...everything.
And I won't hear a bad word about the best bloody country on earth! Where the bloody hell are you!?

Re: For The Philosophers Out There...
To some degree I agree with redeye and his fundamental premise is something I keep my eye on. Appearance is reality, your perception is your entirety, and you apply your knowledge to the logical extensions of pragmatism. And yet, utter volumes have been written. While I usually defer to the past gia...

Sounds good. Dead rising was quite a hoot and it would be nice to be trapped in horror, fearing for your life, if you had your friends with you.

Re: Werewolf and Kungfu
I think a werewolf martial arts style that incorporated rapid shifting/de-shifting would be rather novel, right? On a marginally related note.

Some bloke on Dark Messiah of Might and Magic insisted on calling me a 'slashnoob' or 'noobslasher'. This was, as you could imagine, because I frequently slashed him to death with the warrior class. As a warrior, in terms of attack, you can either hold down a direction and attack for a stance attack...

I was way too young when I first saw Event Horizon, which is pretty much what that game is based off. I heard Dead Space was fun, but not revolutionary. Most dissapointingly, I heard it was not genuinely scary with cheap thrills and cliche flickering lights.

Man, that was some bomb you dropped there Anubis. It certainly got the ball rolling. So right into it: I believe it's down right immoral to take money away from somebody who actually earned it. People often ask of corporations how they come up with their figures. I mean, and can empathize with somet...

Re: Theory of Knowledge (Questionnaire)
I think that everyone has their own little lens through which they view the world. Through this lens, some things make sense, others don't, some ideas are smart, and others are stupid. The important thing to realize is that no two lenses of perspective, as I call them, are the same I.E. no one sees...

Circularity alert, surely The meaning of life is the journey towards finding the meaning of life. that implies no direction for the journey, and for those who suppose that the meaning of life should dictate action, it implies no action. Can you imagine a mathamatician trying to replace life in that ...

A lot of emphasis had been placed on subjectivity and personal generation of morals/ethical guidlines. So are most here subjectivists who take on various derivatives of cultural relativism? Do you take these to be valid?

He is a vast imrovement, and if he is nearly as messianic as everyone is suggesting, then in some sense I guess he is progress, but the euphoria doesn't really extend that far to me for many reasons.

And different places seem to ban different things. I recently got the witcher and apart from Europe which seemed to ge...

Theory of knowledge as in epistomology? Those sound more like the philosophy of happiness, a course I am considering doing. 1. To indulge. Some may be universals, like food or sex, some may be personal, but seek autonomy, respect that of others, and indulge. 2. The advantage of the stronger. People ...

It absolutely sucks. The censorship and lack of R rating is taking far too long to be amended thanks to reactionaries and now internet censorship? I've already heard Rudd's totalitarian idiocy regarding education and so now here's another thing I'd like to cram up various orifices of his. But I don'...

It's not what I'm being fed but more like a hunger. 'Man's Nature' as you cite is what I take to be the propensity for freedom. But even if I take your account of man's nature (which is in dire need of some empirical backing) I think it then becomes quite necessary to argue against it. I do not real...
