Re: Okay people how do we get these forums back up to speed?

I'd knew that you would be archiving old posts, but I thought that perhaps we could select the highest quality threads and keep them in the primary "WWaWWB" section as a sort of "seed" to encourage the type of discussion we want here.

Re: Okay people how do we get these forums back up to speed?

It's been brought up before as a complaint that everything has been talked over, several times over. So we could perhaps create a clean forum install, with a new structure; and leave this forum read-only for archival reasons. So, how receptive is everyone to the idea? I'm game with this. I'm more o...

Re: Healing abilities of weres?

I voted "human regeneration" but I really wish there was an "other". I know that everyone is all over the superhuman/supernatural form of regeneration for werewolves. However, I like the concept that the transformation is the only 'magical' part of a werewolf -- the healing would...

Re: How would a werewolf tell others he's a were? How would

I would definitely stray away from performing a full transformation in front of someone as a way to reveal who/what you are. In fact, I would probably avoid it permanently -- there's no way a transformation could look pretty. If there's any one part in which you are a 'monster', it's when you're twi...

Re: Werewolves in the Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim (spoilers)

I WHOLLY approve of Bethesda's design in regards their werewolves -- not too far on the horror side, but not cuddly either! They fit perfect into the Elder Scrolls universe and goddamnit they're cool. I can't get over the details they placed into their lycanthropes -- the quadrupedal running, the ro...

Re: love at first bite, why we love werewolves

I think, ultimately, no matter how many times I try to explain or justify my affinity for werewolves, it all comes down to "Well, it just is!" Even though every year I could come up with a thousand more reasons to like werewolves, it doesn't change the fact that when I was little, I loved ...

Makes sense for a company to reserve its right to revoke linking privileges from a website. It's kind of like the 3-page list of "DON'TS" I got with my electric blanket pretty much telling me I can't use is the way I wanted it to be used. 'Cause if it fails, at least they have a list of re...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

Or would be all become slaves to the wolf inside? If it were my interpretation, there would be no "wolf inside." The problem I see here is that it's tough to wrap our heads around the idea of "werewolf behavior." We want to categorize things as either human behavior or wolf beha...

Re: Wolf Behavior vs. Human Behavior Vs. Werewolf Behavior?

Wish I had the time to muse in-length about how I perceive hypothetical werewolf behavior, but today I'm going to keep it short and sweet. (Though I'm definitely keeping tabs on this conversation.) Here's the most concise way I could summarize my thoughts: I personally like to imagine werewolves as ...

Re: Awesome Underworld Awakening Lycan CG Demo video!

(Did they REALLY have to choose that song? Awful! lol) The skinny emaciated look isn't up my alley, but the more robust werewolf they showed closer to the end of the video was sweet. Now, if that puppy just had a little bit more fur (thicken out the mane and the dorsal stripe), he'd be rocking. 8) ...

Honestly, considering The Pack just recently went through a bit of a two-year hiatus, I'd MUCH rather new members begin creating new topics rather than necroposting. (But on the other hand, I've always seemed to be in favor of making new topics rather than pushing around the same worn out old ones.....
