Re: What Scared You When You Were Little?

Clowns and spiders scared me as a kid, and still do. When I was younger, I had the most irrational fears when I went to bed. One was the fear of cutting off my circulation in my wrists by sleeping with my forearm under my pillow, which my head was pressing down on. The other was the completely irrat...

Re: If not freeborn, or building the ultimate werewolf...

Its purpose seems to me simple at heart: it's here to provide a watering hole, so to say, for us werewolf fans. It's a place to show appreciation, to make friends, and to gain pleasure from discussing and learning with or from other people with the same interests as us.

Re: Heroes - Season Three

I was a diehard fan in Season 1 and 2, but my schedule changed when Season 3 started, and I couldn't watch it on TV because of the timing. I never took the time to catch up online, but every previous fan has either lost interest in or turned away from Season 3 because it was just ridiculously confus...

I'm chewing Orbit wintergreen gum when I'm not popping ginger ale-flavored cough drops like a drug addict. Soon I'll be drinking some cough syrup with codine... ugh. I hate being sick. I also must say that Quizno's is the most sorry excuse for a sandwich joint in all of America. I grabbed a chicken ...

Re: Skin?

It would seem most practical that fur sort of lurks beneath a werewolf's everyday skin. I see no reason for it to change its color. Sure, its texture would probably change, and would separate perhaps to allow fur to grow through the epidermis and things like that (see my intelligent scientific termi...

No need to worry about feeling awkward. I feel the same way, sometimes, which is why my posts are almost always "human," if you know what I mean, haha.

But regardless, welcome to the Pack. Like others have said, feel free to indulge. No one will find you weird here. :)

Re: Furs,Therian,Otherkin,WereWolves, Shamans, Mythology etc?

I really don't believe in physical shifting at all, though what vrikasatma said got me thinking about the age-old questions of human belief eras ago. How could different cultures all form somewhat similar opinions of mythological creatures (like dragons, shapeshifters, etc.) simultaneously without t...

Re: Werewolfs Music

Interesting topic: music plays a big role in my werewolf's character, actually. I chose rock in the poll. As a matter of fact, my werewolf character has her own playlist on my iPod. Sad, yes, but I love the same type of music. I also made a "soundtrack" to the novel I'm writing as well. &q...

I haven't laughed that hard in probably two weeks or something. That reminds me so much of John Kricfalusi/Ren and Stimpy, what with the grotesque expressions and farting noises and stuff. That was HILARIOUS.

Well, I just got a bid for the sorority I want to join (it's a sorority, yeah, but not like "let's haze you and go get wasted!" - it's a service sorority that promotes music, and it's anti-hazing/alcohol anyway). The sisters showed up at my dorm tonight and scared the crap out of me! It wa...

Re: Do You Ever Dream About Werewolves?

I'm usually really restless right before I fall asleep (unless I'm extremely exhausted, or fatigued to the point that when my head hits the pillow, I'm out cold). Usually I try to force my brain into strenuous activity to help fall asleep faster, so many nights I'll try to imagine myself in a werewo...

Conversely, we also heard very little about McCain's elbow-rubbing with convicted Watergate felon G. Gordon Liddy, or his extremely poor judgement in his involvement with the Keating Five. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, ya know? Maybe so, but those are only 2 examples.... you must a...

Re: Your werewolf obsession. Does it go in phases?

I find that my obsession tends to be apparent the entire year. My feelings flare up when I'm angry - I think about werewolves when I need a coping method, or sometimes to lull myself to sleep, haha. But I do agree that I am more apt to be a bit "wolfy" when I'm outside in the cold (fall/wi...
