"Good thing too, it smells like rain." Yami led him down to the river and the hollowed out cave.

Yami sniffed around. "I had a temporary den that was a cave by a river. We can use that for shelter for now."

"I'm Yami. I'll let her introduce herself since I neither know her that well and it would also be rude."

Yami shook his head. "No I haven't heard a calling. I have been seperated from my kind for so long so that may be why. I also just reached this city." He looked at Roark concerned. "Is that normal or should we find somewhere to take him so he can rest?"

Yami waved back still not sure of what all was going on here. "Okay, some body please, what the hell is going on? I've been sensing some weird vibes and smelling blood in the air. Something is terribly wrong in this town. I want to know."

Yami did run faster, the pain in his leg gone. They didn't reach the town by nightfall but did reach it sometime after midnight

Yami stepped closer to Telki, ignoring the fact the dragon had flown off. He knew they were sensitive to certain things and something had probably concerned her enough that she felt like she had to leave. He smelled blood in the wind, so he knew there was something going on.

Yami quickened his pace, the pain in his leg gone now. He hurried on with Thunderclaw. "I just traveled in from a town. Two days travel but if we run in wolf form then we should make it by nightfall."

Yami watched the two old friends and the dragon, mildly amused. He was surprised they hadn't really noticed him, but then again even though he was out in the open, they had been more focused on finding Telki. He leaned back against a tree, sighing.

Yami nodded hurrying as fast as his leg allowed him. Thunderclaw was right, they needed all the help they could get. "How far is this friend of yours?"

Yami grinned. "Who said I'd die?" He laughed. "You're right, I would more likely die, but at least it would give you a chance."

Yami nodded and limped along behind him. "If I slow us down, you may have to go on without me. I can keep them off you two for a while."

Yami stepped out into the open, a new scent in the air. 'Well that can't be good...' "Keep your gaurd up." He warned the other three.

Yami followed as quickly as his leg would allow him. He snarled everytime the pain shot through it, only going faster. He wouldn't fail now.

Yami looked up. "That dragon," he said pointing, "knows we're here. The scent of you unnerves her. She doesn't know our position yet, but she does know we're close by." He had found the panthers' threats funny. He knew she meant it, and that she could probably put a lot of hurt o...

Yami shook angrily, wanting to stay and fight, but his leg would not permit him. "May the goddess watch over you." He shook as he went to stand, but managed. He was in pain, but this was just enough an emergency to get the adrenaline pumping so he had the strength to go on.

Yami rolled onto his back, rubbing his left leg wincing in pain. "Damnit... Not now..."

Yami immediately began jumping onto items pulling himself up. His left hind leg almost gave out a few times and he struggled, finally pulling himself onto the roofs.

"So you're playing a game with him? I don't get it." Yami watched the other searching, scratching his head.

"Yami. And yours stranger?" His amber eye watched her filled with curiousity.

"I have no master. I am a master. And no, you're right, I didn't come with them. I was just curious. I've never seen two dragons up close together. And I'm not even sure why I'm here. I just wandered here, like I usually do." Yami sat up, leaning against a tree. "Why are you here?"

Yami almost snarled, but instead just jumped slightly as she pinned him to the ground. He'd have to comment on her strength later, but it didn't surpirse him much since she was a panther. He turned to watch the other three with a bored look on his face, waiting to see some action.
