*Grins* these are looking awesome, Fig! What would be REALLY neat now is if, in user preferences or something you could customize a smiley set - choose your fur color or something to be applied to the smilies you use ^_~. .... not sure if that's been mentioned >> - but I know that would be a LOT of ...

*shrugs* Well - I can see pros and cons to both - in the short scale it makes even new people feel special, like they've accomplished something. It encourages people to stay around and chat long enough to get some more moons to their name because it's few enough to be a realistic goal - and by that ...

Man, I REALLY wish I could go - I just plain don't have the fundage for it - or any other close friends who would have the fundage to go with me anyway :/ . I'd love to hang out with some more of the Packmembers again and meet up with Abrownrigg again - I really had a blast at A-kon ^^. And I'd love...

Re: One brow to rule them all

Yes, I noticed. I commented it to Arania at one point about how spooky it was. I agree about the idea of certain mannerisms. I noticed that my own subtle lupine mannerisms, even when intentionally exaggerated for test purposes, often times goes unnoticed. (Or, at least, un-commented upon. Maybe the...

Yeep *points up* that was me >> I didn't notice it signed me out.

And what I meant to say is that I really respect people who do animated films - I don't think that people realize the work that goes into doing them 0.o

:D Hiya Akuji! YES! I had an absolute blast at Akon and I loved meeting many of you there ^__^. I had met ShadowSaber there the year before - her costumework really is phenomenal 0.o. Still a bit wiped from the trip, and finding piles of things that need to be done now that I'm back, but WOW! Such a...

Oooh - looking VERY nice! I like the gradual infusion of the yellow color into the blue and the growing irises ^__^. Course - SOME wolves do have blue eyes - but yeah, I like the look of the wolf amber eyes much better regardless. ^_^

Ugh, you thought so, Terastas? I just got back from it as well - and I really didn't care for it. I'm not much of a slapstick fan - and that's just about all it was :( And while the misproprotioned/stylized look I thought might be tolerable with a funny movie, it just served to make it more grating ...

That's certainly a possibility, but if you ask me, I think it'd be more of a stretch to classify it as ursine as opposed to canine or feline. I don't see anything human-like about it, but if that's science's consensus about it, I can give it the benefit of a doubt. Actually, I'm really going to hav...

*nods* I agree with the apparent consensus that the characteristics wouldn't be so totally inhuman as to be features that would ONLY appear on werewolves, but be features that normal people might possess as well. IN the instance of joining eyebrows, perhaps slightly longer canines and/or rapidly gro...

Well, I wouldn't imagine that the signs would be anything as blatant, as say - a tail or anything (^~) - but things that some people might have anyway (such as eyebrows that meet) but would develop once someone became a werewolf regardless of whether they had the characteristics to begin with or not.

Human-form telltale signs?

I don't THINK that this topic has been brought up yet, but forgive me if so. So far I think that together we have pretty well nailed what we all visualize a werewolf to look like in thier gestalt or full wolf form, but what about human? Would they be undistinguishable from a normal human? Or would s...

Sounds good - I guess that only leaves the question of Setting - you've listed so far playable races, but what about the location? Modern? Fantastical? IN order to figure out what sort of background the characters have, that's requisite ^_~. How common are werewolves? Do normal people believe in them?

Lycanthropy Term papers

Not sure if anyone is intersted at the very least, but I'm a cultrual anthropology major, now a grad student with a focus in folklore. and during my career I've written two term papers that either were entirely about lycanthropy, or in the case of the 2nd, lycanthropy was a major focus. I thought I'...
