Re: Traditional Werewolf Art Commissions
hey do you do people? transformations? like if i emailed a photo of me, would you do a full transformation spread, through the different stages? I've been looking for a good artist to have this done, was bitterly dissapointed by the last attempt. I would pay well.

Ah yes, Black sheep. The best part was, the Were-sheep effects were done better than almost all Werewolf effects in film haha.Scott Gardener wrote:At Dragon*Con, I stumbled in the wee hours of the morning upon a horror film about a killer weresheep.

Re: Speech?
I should think that in hybrid/gestalt form, they rely mostly on body/sign language, with some verbal cues. I just can't imagine speaking through a wolf muzzle... plus honestly i think it looks ridiculous. just my opinion

Re: Werewolf Mental Health/Psychology?
I think it comes down to the individual. It would be a tremendous amount of trauma and stress, and i think insanity/psychological problems would be fairly prevalent among werewolves. In the few short stories I've wrote, this (and a few other factors like hunger and poverty) is what led many werewolv...

Re: What makes a werewolf an interesting werewolf
I think to make a werewolf interesting, creators must first deconstruct the cliche and create a new mythology. Wolves after all are not mindless killers - but instead very loyal familly types - and the killer werewolf story was only brought about because of the ignorance to the wolf itself. Now tha...

Re: What is a true werewolf?
a werewolf is defined as a person who transforms into a wolf or wolf-like creature, regardless of cause, form, etc. more specifically a person who willingly transforms themselves into a wolf in order to accomplish a task (hunting, battle, etc) while retaining their human mind can be called a "G...

Re: The Term "Lycan".
ok, let me stop this here.
1. lycan is a short form of lycanthrope, which is a pseodoscientific word for werewolf. the term lycan was coined by the underworld movies to be cutting edge and cool.
2. lichen is a plant thingy, and completely irrelevant.
that is all.

And let's remember that Were-Wolf means "Man-Wolf"; so by definition if a human can shift and become a wolf, he's a werewolf even if all he does as a wolf is sell auto insurance.

Re: In Human Clothes
why does everyone assume that a werewolf has to lose his clothes to shift? grab the shirt you're wearing and pull it out as far as you can. T-shirts are stretchy people! my jeans have almost six inches of extra leg room. if a werewolf grows so much as to burst their clothing, they are cartoon big. w...
