Regeneration of missing limbs might be a possibility, although if that were the case, the process would be a very slow (and potentially painful) one. A lycanthropic shift would, after all, involve some alteration of the individual's bone structure, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise if a missing a...

There's already discussions like this going on in other threads, namely the one about hair. The discussion, last I checked, was that it should work that way, but that a long-haired werewolf shouldn't be included because the CGI model would look tackey. I agree with both reasons: A werewolf's were fo...

I wasn't saying you were trying to turn this into a furry movie, and I apologise that it sounded like I did. My point was that what looks good and often sexy in a drawing - such as those made by furries - would not look good rendered realistically. In fact, it runs a significant danger of looking s...

This is a werewolf, not a furry. If some girl (or guy, I suppose) with long hair turns into a werewolf, it would look really weird to see this fantastic CGI and prosthetic job with a wig stuck on top. What looks good in drawings doesn't always look good in real life - witness the Rocky and Bullwink...

Being realistic, any fur that a werewolf grows during transformation would elongate to the same length, regardless of it's length in human form. This would typically go unnoticed, but a human with long hair in their human form would have a similar style applied to their were form. It would make sens...

Was just thinking about it while waiting for the train and got a few ideas: the humor in the movie doesn't have to pertain to a character's status as a werewolf. If the movie is about people that happen to be werewolves, the humor could just focus on some aspects of a character's life as a human. Th...

Never been to a fur con myself, as I hear some mighty wierd things go on there. Plus I'm told that they're a bastian of furry porn and well, I don't like that sort of thing. Bull. The only porn involved is in room parties -- that's when you schedule an unofficial event in your own hotel room, so th...

Whoa...I hope the werewolf is 100% CGI, not half costume half CGI. If you watch Scooby Doo 2, they placed Shaggy's head on a female body. They didn't do a very good job of it. I noticed some flaws in the movement. Oddly enough, that's the same movie I was thinking about citing for the half n' half ...

Again, ditto. There's only really two problems with CGI. First, it can be seriously overdone, but I'm presuming based on what I've heard so far that more emphasis will be on the acting than the special effects, so that wouldn't be a problem. The other problem is that CGI monsters are harder for onsc...

Thought about it a little more in terms of diseases, and here's what I came up with: Lycanthropy doesn't necessarily cure diseases like AIDS, but instead continuously repairs the damage caused by AIDS. AIDS is an extremely slow process -- it takes years before a person can even be diagnosed as being...

Re: Werewolf 'acting'
I think that the werewolves need to act like real animals. Their ears should be able to move; not stuck in one place like in so many other movies. When they get angry, the fur on their back should stand. Their tail would show their emotions or rank in the pack. And their faces should not be stuck i...

If I recall correctly, according to the current script, a lycanthropic shift can sometimes be a fatal process as the regenerative abilities kick in some time midway during the shift, so the pain can be so unbearable that a lot of first-time werewolves don't even survive it. By this mentality, it wou...

There could be a few exceptions to the rule; a werewolf might growl at their opponent in order to momentarily paralyze them with fear, but beyond that possibility and the one you mentioned about the evil werewolf, you're right: a werewolf would only growl at someone like they do in the movies if the...

One function of lycanthropy is regeneration, so every lycanthropic shift could reset a werewolf's blood pressure, repair any bone and muscle decay, etc. A werewolf wouldn't necessarily be immortal, but the lycanthropic regeneration would constantly negate most of, if not all of the effects of aging....

Maybe a good way to allow the packs to name themselves and spite White-Wolf at the same time would be to have the packs named for the regions which they occupy. That would avoid the use of any fancy names they claim to have copyrighted, and assuming that only one pack can live in a specific region (...
