Unfortunately all you CAN do with it is point it at stuff. It's still just a prop. I can point my video camera at stuff as well. But I get something back in return. Memories to share!! :D :o :( *Points the gun at Figarou.* http://www.chrisroeder.net/photos/br2.jpg http://www.chrisroeder.net/...

I finished the Battle Rifle today. It looks awesome and metallic (dispite being 70% MDF and 30% bondo). It even has a working scope, and a painted on version of the LCD ammo counter, set at 36 rounds of course (full clip). I'll be pointing it at yall up at A-Kon first chance I get. :x  Unfortun...

Looks at everyone that went to E3. "Son of a *****!" You're not alone my friend. Still, most of us are locals, or live near the Texas border. I'm flying the 800 miles, but not everyone can afford that. Understandable, and I'm not gonna brag over this plane ticket. I'm told Southweste...

Well yes. Making room for the controller can be an issue. In the past players have built special tables to accomadate the controller and pedals. As of late they don't sell the custom tables anymore. You can see my setup for an example. My office desk is long enough to hold both a 27 inch CRT flatscr...

Ok... my trip there is set in stone. I'm flying in on Thursday, June 8th. I'm glad I wont be driving through any deserts anytime soon. One thing I still wonder about. Should I bring my Kaebora costume again? You see my avatar? I actually have that outfit. Labcoat and all. I'll definately have my pre...

I walked around for awhile at the 2005 A-Kon convention in Dallas before running into their booth. The fur paw/hand poster caught my eye. I remember thinking, that looks like Timothy Ablee's style (a prodominant 3D artist). I then walked up and was introduced to the Director in all of his red kimono...

I'm paying at the door this year since theres a slight chance of a no-go. I'm still facing the chance that my car will cost me too much to repair. This month I have to replace a tire, get a tune-up, fix the alignment, and repair the driver-side doorhandle if I have time. I wish I got an online ticke...

You do NOT know what you're talking about man! LOL! CD players don't skip during MP3 playback. They load the song first, then play it via a memory chip. It only spins the disk breifly to load up more of the song, typically 8-10 seconds before it needs to play that portion. Unless the disk gets stuck...

It's for XBox. As a matter of fact, it isn't unusual to hear of players buying two, three, or even four copies of this game with an XBox for each. This way they can have LAN action that is without the risk of laggy connections. And what's more fun that LAN parties? You can see the look on their face...

You know guys, personally, I'd prefer having a rabbit's tail. It's cute, the girls would love it, and it wouldn't be as difficult to sit in most chairs.

Home of the Cowboys... and Reunion Tower. (The big tall and famous round revolving restraunt thingie you always see in the Dallas skyline.) Gosh I miss living in Texas. I never thought I'd find a more windy winter anywhere. DAMN! I moved to a place where it exists. :( So... how far are yall going to...

Seriously though, are you going to bring a rubber ducky as a prop? Everyone has a prop at those conventions. (I'm making mine. I'll show it here when it's finished.)

I know that. I actually almost attended that college, but passed it up for one in New Mexico. (Better art programs.) However, an Aggie can also be referring a stupid person. That's how the joke was told in Texas anyways.

Damn. It isn't until I move that all these cool new conventions start popping up. All we had up until two years ago was A-Kon as far as I knew. Now there's Cage Con, Wizard World, and Quake Con. Ugh. So many conventions, so little time...er money. Whichever comes first. LoL! I'll be in Dallas Texas ...

I am SO there! I've been to the last three A-Kons, and I'm going to fly down for my fourth. I wouldn't miss it for the world. One question though. Would anyone recognize me from this forum? I doubt it. I guess I'm not a very frequent poster after all. (I read it all the time though.)

Bah. Who needs I-Pod. CD Players with MP3 playback are way more affordable, and do the same stuff. 200 songs fit on one burned CD.
