Hmm, I would say, that they'd have a better body then before becoming a werewolf, but by no means should they have bodies as well built as Olympic athletes. I would put the physical aspect well within human capabilities, for example, sure they may be slightly stronger, slightly faster and may even h...

Hmm, I would have to say yes, they should be able to talk, and that thier natural tone should be a somewhat deeper, growly version of thier normal human form voice. I don't really know how exactly you'd pull that off though. On a side-note, I might suggest allowing experienced werewolves to mimic th...

Yes they should be able to remember what they've done in wolfen form, however, I might suggest that during thier first transformation, both thier memory and controll is a little limited, and that both improve fairly drastically over time. Of course, this is only my two cents, there are lots of diffe...

If you can't outdo a 20 year old movie then whats the point? I dunno, how about, to tell a good story and to do one's best to entertain people? I don't mean to be rude here, but, you cannot expect ReQuest to constantly compare this film to others just because they happen to be the same genre. This ...

The amount of prosthetics and CGI needed varies drastically depending on what sort of movie you're making. For example, in a horror/slashed film, when most the shots are likely to take place at night, it's not very likely that the audience will get all that good a look at the werewolf. On the flip s...

Speaking as an occasional author, (mainly just amature stuff,) transformations scenes, while important, always take back-seat to the story. 6-7 minute transformation scenes, would simply become boring after awhile. That period of time is about 1/3rd the amount of time a typical half hour cartoon las...

Yes wolves should have tails. Not only do the emphasize the fact that they arn't human, but tails serve a very functional purpose. Tails act as a slight counter wieght to help balence animals as the do things such as making sharp high speed turns. Plus they protect a rather, er, vital part of the bo...

Wintercoats vs Summer Coats
I've never seen a wolf during the winter, but I've gotten fairly close to them during the summer months, and that's where I got the idea that wolf fur was somewhat medium length. I've just had a thought right now though. I don't know about wolves, but many dogs have slightly thicker and slightly lon...

Kaze: Ghost Warrior was the effort of one man, basically a film somebody made because computer generation is his hobby. (That's my understanding at least.) In his case, he didn't have to pay anybody else the labor and I imagine quite a few other costs were cut out as well. It is theoretically possib...

Wolves really arn't that agile in the most strict definition of the word so I cannot see Werewolves being ALL that agile either. For example, wolves are agile enough to run at fairly high speeds and still make a fairly sharp turns, but they don't really have the ability to gracefully scale walls or ...

I feel that if this movie intends to go into a more intamate sexual side of things. Shouldnt be afraid to veiw the female and male clothless Clothless is fine if indeed the plot calls for it, one must keep in mind that, the subject may not always be expecting to change. If they aren’t expecting to ...

Well part of the problem with CGI is, that when it's used, the instinct is to show it off. This creates two problems, first, if you show it off then you run the risk of the audience picking apart piece by piece what they don't like about about the graphic. Another issue is, that in horror films, you...

Heheheh, it seems that many of us werewolf fans are miffed with Hollywoods treatment of werewolves. I can't say I blame them, I've sat watching silently as Hollywood has abused poor defensless werewolves. But I can be silent no longer, and that is why I created PetW, People for the Ethical Treatment...

As for regenerative abilities only in werewolf form? Please. Why not in ALL forms? Also have strength, stamina, and agility of the wolf in human form as well. Makes for a more interesting creature in my eyes. I'll agree on most counts, however, the wolf form has to be obviously supperior or else th...

This is another one of those things that're a real toughie. As I'd love to check almost all of these options. I like movies that can scare people so the horror/slasher option is a good choice. However the Dark Comedy option with good and bad werewolves and some serious undertones is very appealing, ...

What do you think about a 360 degree shot, the camera moving aroudn two individuals holding each other while they transform together? No cuts.. but moving camera. Not really sure what to think of that, probably because I don't know as much about camera shots as I should. At a glance that almost sou...

If realism is the ultimate goal, then the transformation has to take place over hours. However, the problem with that is many fold. First off, is a transformation takes that long, then, it's very likely that a werewolf would be discovered fairly quickly. I mean, it'd be difficult to hide out for mos...

My instinct is to take the middle ground option, mostly in one shot but with some cuts and close-ups. Simply put, things like a tail will be hard to put into a transformation without cuts, and a camera just sitting doing nothing while the transformation is ongoing seems a little boring. If the focus...

This is kinda a toughie, I would say fully degitrade as it distinguishes something as not human, but I don't know how that would effect a speciel effects budget. Fully plantigrade would be, rather dull looking in my mind, as it'd look a lot more like a guy in a suite, but on the other hand, it's pro...
