Re:

I second what Howlizter said a few weeks ago. Modern politics sucks, the parties are a joke, and you're not voting for who you think you're voting for when you vote. You're actually voting for whatever corporations or special interest groups paid for that candidates...."campaign". Now, whe...

Re: Why Americans REALLY hate the green movement :}

Fair enough, Terasta. Touche. It still circles back around to what I said though, wherein there's really no quick fix to this problem. As I said, it's more of a nightmare/worst case scenario. Believe me when I tell you, there are some elements in the Green Movement that would be happy if the g...

Re:

There's also the simple fact that trains don't run everywhere. Not even close to everywhere. Not even in the same county with everywhere. Tractor trailers are the most efficient way to move things where the trains don't go. In Australia, I've heard they have things called "Land Trains"......

And I still can't believe that so many people are missing the good ole cliche song.

While they may be anathema to many net people....Metallica always has the song "Of Wolf and Man".

What's sad is there is an alternative to those tractor trailer rigs; Trains. That's how things move about in other places where there are larger and more developed train lines then load them on smaller 1 to 3 tonne trucks to thier final destination. It's just in North America(US and Canada both) we...

As long as we Americans buy and drive apartments on wheels called SUV's and Mini-Vans, these itty bitty cars are going to be rolling coffins. There are people who legitimately need big cars, but they are not the people who usually buy these SUV's. Mostly, these boats are status markings or compensa...

The upside is that, when you go somewhere, you could put that inside your back pocket and carrying it inside with you.

No more parking place hunting. :howl: :oo

*Stares at the Pac-Wolf emote in dazed amusement....*

Hmm? OH, sorry...the pac-man thing was distracting me....

*Hides the gnawed ducky behind his back, feigning innocence.*

Wh-what? Do what with the duckies, you said? I'd do no such thing....

It could happen. <_< Until said werewolf finally snaps one day, comes back, and has a field day on said bully and anything in his path. Consider, if lycanthropy isn't known/believed in, and silver is the only way to put a werewolf down permanently...what bully will be carrying silver weaponry? He's ...

I vote 'other', because as much as I hate to say it...I'd rather not see the movie at all if the effects aren't going to at least be acceptable. No "wolf-cams", no "flashes of movement"...just don't show me the movie.

Bipedal is the way to go. Otherwise, how can you tell they aren't just smart Wolves? As I think was stated above, what's to keep them from being both? Like...maybe the werewolf has slightly extended arms when compared, size for size, with a human, thus allowing it to drop down to a quadrupedal move...

I've just seen Cain histories. Making three games at the same time it's quite hard, I think they should stop World Of Warcraft: The Wrath of the Lich king and start making diablo 3. Except World of Warcraft players are making it possible for you to have Diablo 3. Think of it like this. D3 is ...

Technology...ease of life(relatively speaking)...convenience. And the price that is paid is that the species is so wrapped up and blinded to the wor...
