I beleive it has been explained that wen the teeth grow the gums bleed, and when someone is bitten the DNA passes that way. Also DNA is the code and informatin on what makes what what and thus is how it must spread. So I wuld say DNA does it.

No. It wnt be chance. As I said when a werewlf bites it places ITS DNA code inside the person, thus is why them being similair would be because of that, not chance. Though it depends on what DNA passed through and if it combines with the original humans to create a new one.

I think it would be very primal. Biting, kicking, slashing. Or for any of those whho love to play werewlf on darkstalkers (someone here has it in their signature.), they could fight like that. But mybe not jump that good.

I knw werewolves have regenerative abilities but Ithink they would stay. I think the skin stays similai thrugh the forms. frce the skin may be different but therwise it seems t be just stretching over the body in the differnt forms. So the skin isn't going to change much. I also under scars dont see...

I'd be to much of a wimp to tryh it but wow, I would love to become a werewolf through one of those!

I'm guessing most of us think the werewolf will, or should, have different genetic codes. But you must agree they still may become similair.

One interesting consequence I've considered from the other extreme, is that if the virus were really DNA all-inclusive, everyone infected would turn into the same wolf, even if that meant half of werewolves would change sex when shifting...

Actually, they might have a wavier coat, but probably not an actually curly coat. though ,of course, if you were a were-rex, this could happen... rex is a breed of cat with curly fur. Oh those cats are sooo cute!!!! But as I said, it depends on the werewolf DNA, wolfs don't naturly have curly hair ...
