Re: My band's audioterror

Okay, I'm reviving this old topic again to post a small newsflash regarding this little music project of mine. Me and the old vocalist got together for a last time to record a bonus-track for a re-release on tape of our last demo entitled "Total F*cking Meltdown". After that, communication...

Re: Claiming Nationality/Ethnicity.

I think Japan is a very good example of weird (and stupid) nationality laws.

Re: The Thing 2011

This version is directed by a Dutch guy. :D

I'm curious if they screwed this version up though, I liked the original (by that I mean the Carpenter-remake).

If there's a reason for people to come back then they just might do that.

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?

I think one of our bests bets to get something like this off the ground is to make a short movie, demonstrating the unique artistic expression of a concept like this kind of project. Only then do I see people being willing to throw money at it. The director of the Silent Hill movie did the same. At ...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?

To push things ontopic: yes, the pack is dead sadly. I think this is kinda obvious. There are even 'latest messages' on here that were posted way back as september 2010, so what does that tell you? :P I think the whole point of the forum was to (among other things) discuss how the perfect werewolf s...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?

Its an okay FPS-game, but thats the whole point. The first BioShock was alot more then just an okay FPS-game. It introduced elements that were just completely watered down in the sequel, but you can play as a big daddy! Woo... In Zero Punctuation Yahtzee pretty much summed it up perfectly regarding ...

Re: IS thepack slowly fading away?

I think the problem is that, if you want a good story like in the first BioShock, you would have to come up with a talented writer. There are plenty of good writers out there, but the thing is if you don't have any contacts within the business at some point you are not getting that lucky break. Let ...

You could go for the Pack symbol (the project is dead now anyway), although I'm sure what exactly is werewolfish about it... It could just as well be a sun-logo.

Re: The Maxx - Free to watch!

Haha! Well, believe it or not, the comic actually introduced a second story apparently. I haven't read the comics, except for a few scans (ssssshh!) so I can't really judge the second story. According to Wikipedia, the plot of the second story involves Mr Gone (who is now a teacher) turning into a g...

Re: The Maxx - Free to watch!

Hmmm... I liked The Maxx when I saw it on MTV waaaaay back when. But even I have to admit that it was really weird. It kept you hooked, and you're trying to figure out what's really going on right up until the end... and that's where it lost me. I'm still (occasionally) tryintg to figure out what t...

The Maxx - Free to watch!

I'm opening this topic to promote one of my personal favorite animated shows of all time; The Maxx. I only found out about this show because I am a big fan of Aeon Flux and I found out that The Maxx and Aeon Flux both aired on MTV's 'Oddities' back in the mid-ninety's. I don't think it even aired ov...

It would make a cool total conversion. If I had the game and knew how to help, I would. I love modding, and leveldesign is my 'specialty'. :P

But again, then you have to resort to censorship. If you put the ban against something, its only going to escalate more. You basically stated what I was trying to say: if you ban something and people can't practise their fetish anymore in this way, it can escalate for some disturbed people. Its not ...

I'll be honest I can't understand, and I don't understand how people can get obsessed with some of the most bizzare fetishs... balloon anyone... and the truth is, those who practice fetish sometimes can cross into areas where what is marginally acceptable becomes criminal. There are after all certi...

I honestly can't understand why people get so worked up over what types of fetishes and sexual image-types are allowed on a gallery or not. I'm not trying to defend perverts here even though I think that being a furry is already having a fetish to begin with, but I'm personally against censorship in...

I wouldn't expect anything like that, although it would be pretty neat if the game had a system where your werewolf-persona is defined by the statistics you set up for your character.

Yeah, if I walk up to the north in Skyrim I'd better see some damn werewolves. :P If there aren't any werewolves, the Elder Scrolls-nerds are probably going to nag at the people at Bethesda for being so slacking at their job.

Re: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has been announced! + teaser

I've stumbled upon some lore from the Elder Scrolls Wiki that might tickle all werewolf-fans in the right spots: Geography Skyrim is the most rugged region in the continent, not only containing five of the highest peaks in Tamriel. Skyrim also is very snowy and cold, home to all manner of lycanthrop...
